Chucky is number 1. Hands down. But i will say the dolls from tales from the hood was scary as hell when u factor in the backstory of slavery and revenge
After 35+ years, the character Charles Lee Ray AKA Chucky is still my number one favorite terrifying doll character in horror movie history, and also one of my top 3 favorite slasher film villains of all time.
And its warrior cry haunted me for weeks. I’ve never seen a killer doll that scared the living crap outta me the way this doll did. To this day I can’t watch that film (Trilogy of Terror).
Big thumbs up for including "Magic". So few people seem to have heard of the movie but it features one of Anthony Hopkins' greatest performances. It's a drama / thriller, not straight horror, but Fats is still the stuff of nightmares.
I haven't seen the movie, but with the few scenes they shows us here, it's clear what a great actor Hopkins is, i mean his face gave this felling of sadness and mental illnes that is almost painfull to watch.
I don't know if you remember the trailer they played in the 70s in primetime TV, but that had me sleeping with my mother for like a month....at 53 years old I still can't watch that trailer
@@omarfloresmota6301 You should check it out sometime Omar, you hit the nail on the head. It's a movie about a shy and mentally ill man who feels forced to rely on a ventriloquist dummy to handle his various (sometimes violent) emotions. And yeah George I definitely remember the trailer, it was pretty horrifying. Just a slow zoom on one of the creepiest dummies ever created, lol.
For me it wasn't so much that Billy scared me, but I ended up in the emergency room from the scene where Mary Shaw suddenly appeared in the curtain of Donnie Wahlberg's motel room.
It seems like in the Blood Dolls movie, it seems like they use the same doll technology they used in the movie Small Soldiers from 1998. Even Sideshow looks just like Archer just with a human face.
I hated Chucky for decades for reasons I won't go into fully, let's just say linked to someone from my past and I didn't want the reminder, but then I met something worse... My ex wife.
@@lessismore8533 lol yeah growing up I was forced to watch horror movies all the time so I saw the first Chucky movie and it like gave me nightmares like I would check under my bed all the time for Chucky but now if he were to jump out from under my bed I would ask for an autograph
Its Funny how Chucky when I was a kid never scared me cause he said so many jokes he always made me laugh hard, however he is still the undisputed King of Killer Dolls haha
"Abracadabra, I sit on his knee.. Presto, changeo, now he is ME.... Hocus pocus I take her to bed. Magic is fun. YOU'RE DEAD" I'll NEEEEEVER forget that intro.....😭 One of the ppl complaining about the terrifying commercial was my MOM-THAT 💩had me TRAUMATIZED.
I was thinking the same thing. She should’ve at least gotten an honorable mention. I also loved the parody on Simpsons treehouse of horror with the Krusty doll.
#14 The Dolls, is a movie I think I'm going to look up & watch tonight after I end this Mojo video!! The dolls looked so real especially for the movie being from 1987!!!!
Annabelle, PFFT, the film version is hilarious. no interest in seeing Megan . the BEST, Chucky, TIFFANY, Billy and Slappy. Also Leach lady, Blade, Tunneler, Jester, Pinhead from The Puppet Master. Zuni doll, Dolly dearest.
Ive gotten the weirdest case of Deja Vu. I feel like WM remakes the same videos every few years at this point. We all knew Chucky would be #1 come on now 😂Chucky will always be the GOAT killer doll snd most powerful, dude is literally an OP ghost now killing people from the spirit realm...Chucky has had a few upgrades since the 1st movie.
As always it's no surprise that Chucky made it to the top of a list involving killer dolls in movies! I mean after all at this out of all the ther killer dolls on this list, Chucky has the highest body count.
Years ago, when a classmate of mine was 7 or 8, he watched childs play for the first time. It terrified him so much that he cut off his sisters barbie doll heads, stuffed them in a bag and hid it in the garage.
As a kid i loved watching chucky movies and the puppet master, never got scared and was so intrigued that dolls could move and wanted one for myself lol all the killing was just a bonus that made me more curious about killer dolls, good movies
I really do remember back in the 80s. I was like six and watching cartoons and the movie preview for magic came on and it scared me to death to this day. I can’t even watch that movie. 😮
@@Nenernener123 I won't argue with that, but he's had decades and popularity on his side. But compared to some of the others in terms of scariness, I think there are a few on this list who are scarier.
doesn't matter if there are scarier looking dolls chucky is still the scariest he has scared so many kids for a long time the one from bride of chucky scared me the most
@@BlackHatCinephile again you don't get that me and her are not the same person when we comment on a public comment section. 2nd off , you have never shown anything to prove your lies.
More obscure rabbit hole/dark and unique concepts from TV+film like this one please!!! Every once in a while WatchMojo drops one that knocks it out of the park. This is one of those videos. Thank you
I'm scared of dolls particularly ventriloquist dummies. A guy I was dating brought dead silence over on our fourth date and I didn't know what it was about needless to say I freaked and although we laughed about it the relationship fizzled shortly after lol
I didn't even need to hit play, the Zuni Doll is right there. I was a kid, living with My Aunt and Uncle, in the middle of nowhere on a farm, with nothing for miles, including streetlights. My Uncle fell asleep in His recliner, and I woke up in the middle of the night next to Him, to HBO being on. Trilogy of Terror was playing, and the Zuni Doll gave Me nightmares for years after that. I would check all over for it. Terrified Me.
Band sure hit the 'evil doll/puppet' button a LOT... Blood Dolls, Puppet Master, Demonic Toys, Dangerous Worry Dolls, Doll Graveyard, Skullheads.... Probably more (beyond the Puppet Master and Demonic Dolls sequels) that I'm forgetting. (Yeah, I've watched a bunch of Full Moon movies....)
15:34 , that makes so much sense now! A few years ago, an indie horror game called Dead of Night was made where a hotel clerk's murderous alter ego 'Hugo' took over, and ran around the hotel trying to knock out the main character! Fancy that....
I love Horror movies, Chucky from "Child's Play Franchise" the number one scariest doll from Horror movies, that takes the cake but❤️🦇I also love Vampire movies, can you please do top 30 scariest Vampires from Horror movies?🦇❤
Omg, I was 13 when I first saw Trilogy of Terror.Karen Black was a horror movie Queen in the 70’s early 80’s Karen Black did a great job when the doll was attacking her. She really put up a fight. The ending was sooo scary and shocking. I’m not going to do a spoiler, but it’s scary. The Zuni demon doll was the scariest. I loved puppet master. The doll were loyal to you if you were good.
10 - Pin sounds eerily like a retelling of the Son Of Sam. He claimed insanity by saying his neighbors dog was telling him to kill. But in this movie, it's a doll telling Leon to kill.
THANK YOU, BRAD DOURIF FOR VOICED OVER THE SERIAL KILLER DOLL CHUCKY FROM THE "CHILD'S PLAY" FRANCHISE & I WAS SURPRISED THAT HE RETIRED WITH ONLY ONE EXCEPTION. 🎧🎙️🎎👻🎞️🎬🎥👍
When I saw Blood Dolls it just immediately reminded me of The Puppet Master movies for some reason I think it's because the Clown Pimp reminded me of the White Haired Puppet as they looked similar bar. the colours the down being brightly coloured and Blade being black and white.
Fun fact about the clown doll from Poltergeist, in the scene where it strangles the kid it actually almost strangled him. The crew including Spielburg himself though the kid was getting really into the role until his face started turning colors, Spielburg himself even jumped into to help pry the puppet off.
