Hello, I always follow your videos, they are very informative and precise. Please answer this question , IRCC says , a student can apply for PR after graduation with 1 year job experience in RELATED FIELD OF study. My question is how much RELATED the job should be !!?? Like if I graduate from International Business, a job in any business, management, administration, finance , accounting will count ( O A B category)? Or I have to find job exactly related to International Business only ? Thanks in advance.

I just want to ask for example you school and then you have offered a job and then on that placed you qualified for a immigration program, you have all the needed documents for that immigration program, Is it possible to apply for PR because of that immigration program while studying yung parang dual intent yung purpose? Hi there, I did construction management from Conestoga All courses were full time but on transcript one of the courses is different line item stating part time course What should i do ?

I received my application acceptance letter for PGWP from IRCC and in that letter, it is written “Please attach this letter to your present work permit Number (my co-op work permit number is written here) as proof that you are authorized to continue working with the same conditions i.e. (employer and occupation) until Feb 2023 or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first. This extended period of work is authorized as per subsection 186(u) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations." But in the case of all my friends, it is written as “study permit” instead of “work permit”, whereas we together applied for co-op. What do you say can it affect my PGWP?

Hello MC, You said the student was refused PGWP because she worked more than 20 hours a week. I remember in a previous video you mentioned that a student can work more than 20hours as long as it is within the campus, hope this privilege is still valid? Secondly, what is the maximum hours a week a student can work during recommended breaks?

Hi po. Ask ko lang if 2 terms ako part- time student kasi pre-requisite course pa lang kukunin ko, then after that, 2 yrs full time student naman ako diploma program. Eligible pa rin ba ako for PGWP? Nag part time lang ako kasi may pre-requisite course prior to be accepted sa program.

Hi, I have a question... I applied to my PGWP last May 12th, currently, I am still waiting for my approval. Now, I have a potential employer and I might start working with them by the second week of September. However, my study permit will expire by August 31st same as my SIN. I believe that I am allowed to work since my status is "implied" or "maintained"? Will that give me a problem accepting a job offer (this September) with an expired study permit/SIN?
As you mentioned, yes as long as you applied for your PGWP and are still waiting for a response you are on implied status during which you can work and stay in Canada. Since you applied back in May I would contact IRCC to get an update. It usually should not take that long.
I have sent out inquiries via web form -two times already, but my application is still not moving... Anyway, as long as I won't face any problem accepting the job offer next month (though my study permit & SIN have expired) then I should be OKAY waiting for the approval and should not be worried, right? @@studyliveexploreca
@@studyliveexploreca I had same questions. Am I allowed to work up to 20 hours after finals for the last semester while my study permit still valid? By the way, am I allowed to continue working as full time or 20 hours per week before the application of PGWP. Program has finished but still under review to be verified.
Hello. Thanks for the awesome video. It has made me aware of traps to avoid. Please, I have a question. Assume that I studied in 2 different schools in Canada. Both schools are Designated Learning Institutions, however, only one of them is listed as PGWP. I studied for one full year in the first school and another full year in the second school. Will I get only one year PGWP or two years?

@@oluwadamilolaajadi6533 Not sure. You need to do your own research. Check out IRCC website. Maybe you could apply for another school again, that could be much better, Rather than switching once there. But idk, I'm not experienced in this area. Decide nicely and do a lot of research
You can work after you applied for it and are waiting for the decision being made. Once you know its declined, you have to stop working. If it gets approved, you just continue. But you can not work if your studies are done and you haven't applied for PGWP yet
