I’m with you on that one Yenji. When I spotted Blue VS Monokuma and Hotel Mario VS Hazbin Hotel for the first time, I was not expecting everyone to spit bars as hard as the ones in the actual battles.
Just want to point out that three of Rustage's rap battles were on here, as well as the fact that two of those verses belonged to ConnorQuest. Also, how did LofiGirl get multiple verses in that went that hard? That's crazy.

@@bruhmeowstic1591 "to bed" -> "pillow fight" and "bread" -> "loaf (of bread) eye" are quite fun lines, but those also rhyme: pil-LOW fight, loaf eye... So not only there are two good metaphors, but three "lo-fi" rhymes, too.
Some great choices for this list, that first verse from Satou Matsuzaka Vs Yuno Gasai is a good pick and Lofi Girl’s second verse from SIR rap battles had some serious disses in, keep it up!

Seeing SIR Rap Battles is just amazing, so I have to praise you for that. I think that channel is criminally underrated. Also seeing some Skeep⭐️Tieel’s battles in here has made me respect you even more. I won’t be surprised to see a sequel to this, but I will let you take your time. But I think seeing any of JT Music’s Overwatch vs. Team Fortress 2’s battles or Taiga Aisaka vs. Kirino Kousaka in said sequel will alone make me ecstatic. One minor gripe though within this specific video is that you incorrectly labeled the verse at 9:55 as Nagito Komaeda’s second verse in Dream vs. Nagito Komaeda when it’s actually his third. Edit: And what did you know, not only did you make a sequel video, but it also appeared that you looked at our comments on rap battle verses we like/think should be in a sequel video while making the sequel, which is fantastic!
Okay, what’s worse, having a deceased father that might’ve been a good person or having an alive father who doesn’t treat you well? The latter right? I could also bring up the fact that Skeep⭐️Tieel was an amateur when making that (back then, they were only 14 years old). So it’s likely that there wasn’t much thought process/research involved for that battle. I, however, think the line hits hard, and I consider someone with an abusive parent who’s still alive to be in a worse situation than one who has a dead parent.
Rule number 2. To write a good rap battle, prioritize disses and a fitting flow over edginess and death threats (unless they’re in character and written well).
nagito literally only won that rap battle because the internet hated dream at the time polls without recency bias came out and dream absolutely smashed nagito (as he should, dream 100% won that)

@@rbexcess um, the RU-vid poll and Microsoft poll have different winners each, but overall, Nagito is the official winner. Also, it is rather easy to diss Dream.

There is a verse of Mr. Bean vs. Charlie Chaplin in this video’s sequel, moreover the objectively best verse of that battle in it (I know you wrote this before said sequel came out, but I want to update your knowledge).

Okay, hear me out: I think it’s unfair for someone to say that someone wins a rap battle just based on one line. It takes more than just one or a few bars for a side to win a rap battle. Also, Rosalina vs. Leia wasn’t completely one-sided (I kind of expected a bodybag from the former but am happily surprised that it was closer than I expected).
