I spent 5 hrs climbing Bluff knoll thinking that was the highest WA point. You just informed me I was wrong and could of driven to the highest point.

Plenty of stock vehicles have been up Mt Meharry. We went up there with a stock MU-X a couple of years ago, take it slow, know what you're doing and you'll get there and back just fine.

Definitely Rhonda's shout, Pilbara sunsets are special, for the dust problem Bunnings has a self adhesive rubber seal by Moroday that I used to seal my canopy and tray door, drove 1500 km of corrugated road n no dust, except through a broken window🤪🤪

15s on 35s bounce you around a lot. Probably require 17s for 35s to feel more planted. I went with 16s on 33s and felt the difference. Beautifully filmed!

Mt Meharry ‘not for the feint hearted - only for experienced 4wders in modified vehicles’ hahahaha! Many guys around there take stock work vehicles from local mines (hiluxes, rangers, etc) up there on shift change day for something to do. Use low range because it’s steep and it’s a pretty straightforward track. Have to talk it up I guess…

Ronny took a bet that he was never going to win. Even from the highest point in WA there was no sun left to see there. Remnants of the sunlight perhaps, but the sun had set. Pay up Ronny. The beeps told us everything we needed to know. 😉😉😉

We drove up Mt Meharry semi-by accident on one of our WA trips, around 2000 from memory (we were looking for it, but had no idea if we were on the right track). Bonus blood moon eclipse camped up on the summit, and had the place to ourselves. Lovely spot. Our old and totally stock 4wd did it no problem whatsoever.

Oh, Ronny, Ronny, you're so cute all excited about your "mountain" climb. You need to come to the western United States and do some real mountain roads! You've got some great stuff in Australia, but that was not a mountain road!

I would call it even, you each owe the other a 1/4lb'r. Well worth the bet just to see that sunset. Magic.

Watching this from the summit of Mt Meharry, was an incredible sunset. It's blowing a Gail though. I probably wouldn't have driven it if I watched this earlier haha. Prado loved it 🤙

Laughed when I thought of this but if you eat a Maccas meal with their coke you better be near a toilet haha. They don’t tell you that in their advertising.

Drove up that in a basically stock Dmax, taking the right hand line where the track forks near the tree... it’s not to be trifled with... but it’s not that hard and a stock 75 series loaded to the hilt followed me. Great episode mate but no need for the Oscar performance. Hahaha 🤣

Hello there 4Wheeling Australia. This is just an idea I had for a while. Google says width of Australia is approximately 4000km. My suggestion, With new Hilux - make a 500L diesel tank on the tub of the pickup truck. Connect it to the fuel system & start a journey from East to West or West to East covering all the way Width of Australia continent without #Re-Filling. I think 500L of Diesel enough for the journey. You may be history of 4Wheel Drive with this.

What a crackin vid, really digging the various camera angles. A question though, would it be possible to have a camera hardmounted above the drivers head or just left of the left shoulder so we can see steering wheel inputs and things the way you guys actually see them? Can't wait for ep7...
