I’m in my 60s and I find it funny that we think we’re “aging” in our 30s. Looking back, it wasn’t hard to use some quality skin care and see results. When we get into or 50s, then we see more change and it’s more of a challenge.
Great information, Ashley. Although I am in my mid-50s, I find your content very relatable, and your Canadian! It's nice that we have a couple of Good Canadian content creators. A collaboration with Glam Girl Gabi would be great!!! She is enjoyable to watch as well.
Aw I am so happy to hear that!! I try to share content for all age groups.. Glam Girl Gabi is a beauty and I enjoy her content as well. Collaborating with her would be amazing!!!
I tried the Drmtlgy peptide night cream and neck cream and I don't get the hype 😕 I returned both. Both felt like they sat on my skin. They also felt sticky. I think their way over priced too. I do like PC peptide booster. I've been using Timeless Coenzyme q10 Serum and the Matrixyl Synthe 6 Serum. Both are lovely.
I would love to know what other products you use along with tretinoin?? After 5-6 months of the tretinoin, my chin starts seeing a lot of whitehead acne! Have you experienced the same?? Is it purging from tretinoin or skin barrier damaged ??
Many people don't seem to understand the deference between age and looking good for your age Vs not aging. So if you are a Korean aged 62 and total strangers on the street look at you and think you look 40 then that is very different from someone that is 40 but wants to look like they are 20
Thanks for the reviews. The drmtlgy peptide cream got my intention tho I might try it 😊. For the aha I recommend the neutrogena stubborn blackheads daily serum. It has 0.5% of salicylic acid, 10% glycolic acid + mandelic acid + polyhydroxy acids and fragrance free. I picked it up for my stubborn 2-3 pimples but I apply it all over my face to still get the surface exfoliation benefits. After 2 weeks I have noticed that my new baby fine lines (I'm 30) have faded away. It's a GREAT product. I warn you it smells like a wet dirty mop but it goes away after 30 min. Very affordable too like 20$ CA at my local canadian drugstore. 😊
I have! It's quite nice but I did find it pilled with some of my skincare products and I believe it's the "cream" formate that didn't layer up nice with the other products I use.
Thanks beautiful 🙏🏻 your skin is glowing & radiant .. I’m slowly starting a gentle retinol every 4 days or so & one day maybe I’ll work up to tretinoin 😂 .. Also I’ll try those exfoliation pads soon
I literally just started tret .025 last night was the first time . I was afraid I'd be red and burning today lol but when I checked my face I would swear it made my skin nicer in just one night 😂😂😂 which is impossible lmao
@@alisonmercer5946 That’s fantastic! 2 years ago I had tried just retinol & acids & products like that & my face swelled up bad & red looked like I had been in a boxing match .. So, my aim is to slowly introduce each active without compromising my skin barrier until one day … tretinoin 🙌🏼
I use copper peptides after a facial mist and before other serums, moisturizer and SPF. Copper peptides is not recommended to be used with Vitamin C, especially Ascorbic Acid as they can conflict.
I use the copper peptides from the ordinary and I do like it however I've noticed when looking in a magnifying mirror, my pores on my forehead especially look like tiny little blackheads where the blue colour has filled the pore
Here in the states 15% or higher Azeliac Acid is prescription only also. I heard over in Europe it is not and you can get higher concentrations over the counter. I tried the Ordinary one and it did nothing for me.
Have you ever used Roc Vitamin C Serum Night Capsules??? Someone gifted me a bottle. You use them at night, but I haven't used them yet. I do love Timeless Vitamin C Serum 20%.
Is that true they are not selling Tretinoin in Ontario anymore ? I asked my doctor to prescribe to me and he told me that but I think he was lying to me because he didn't want to prescribe. He told me this month October 2023.
Sorry for my delay as I wanted to ask about this. I asked my local pharmacy as well as I called my Dermatologist office and both told me that the Cream and Gel formulations are staying but apparently there is a lotion formula that will no longer be available in Ontario.
My skin doesn't tolerate well to The Ordinary Glycolic Acid but my skin does with the Dr. Dennis Gross. It can still be an irritating product for some, especially when you're new to the product. The Dr Dennis Gross pads are more effective in my opinion compared to the Ordinary.
Copper Peptides is great to use either morning and/or night. There isn't a specific routine that works better. You can pair Azelaic Acid with Tretinoin, especially if your skin can handle the pairing..
I always like to apply Vitamin C first as it's generally thinner in consistency. Resveratrol has a little bit of a thickness to it so for proper layering (thinnest to thickest) I apply it like this 😉
I love the Peach Slices AA also 🤍 the DE Protini power peptide 10% Lactic Acid omg it scared me at first 🤣🤣🤣 bc it was tingling but it stopped and my skin looked AMAZING the next morning and all week!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 tretnoin!!!! I just finished my first tube it’s incredible!!!! Thank goodness I can use it everynight
