Definitely Ninja ergo tech, ive always used Unger mind but it is good, most probably could be better like a mk2 version perhaps....er-hum!!! Unger!!, its edge is the white micro fibre stripes and very well/robust structure. I always feel mind that the end scrubbing pads could be better or interchangeable for newer if worn etc. Best channel out there Mr & Mrs Trad-man Rocks!!! Stay safe guys🌈😁, Andrew

I feel like a better comparison for water retention would be to weigh them before and after. Just because a mop drips less than another doesn’t meant it holds more.

The Unger is a great sleeve and my 18" is being replaced just this week and i bought it a couple of years ago!!, to be fair mind i predominantly do wfp work so im not using it every day but trust me it gets put through its paces , what i do know is it is very robust, well made, holds water very well and scrubs great on the glass. The key is to clean regularly on low temps and air dry.....dont use heat. Cheers guys and a great scientific video....more please, when you have time lol😁🌈🤣🌈

I think how much water the sleeve picks up in the first place is also a factor. I’ve used all the sleeves featured and have to say I think the Ettore is far superior to any of the others mine definitely holds more water than the others🤷, but mine are a bit older so perhaps they ettore and ninja have both changed since I last bought one. For me at the moment I’m liking the new Unger black series sleeve👍🏻 May have to stock up on them if they really are limited edition before there all gone. So i was really astonished about Your interpretation of Your test. BECAUSE finally the soacked appllicator must be weighed minus t-bar and dry weight of the sleeve. @@heinrichnutzel7031 😊👍🏻 Yeah weighing it is also an option but if you think about it the ettore lost over 400ml during that 3 mins which would make it the lightest all the sleeves weigh almost the same dry. Doing the test that was in this video shows how well each applicator can hold on to that water. With a better more expensive material such as the moerman and ninja applicator, they held on to more water than the rest and if I had weighed them they would of been heavier than the rest to as they did a decent job holding the water in the sleeve itself. For me, in this ultra short time before the solution claps on a hot shop window the water rentition of the ettore is great, but Your test is about how much water will stay after three-minutes in a bucket on a belt! "OKAY (really pissed off about myself..), i will dance the scottish sword dance a second time...(psss..still fingers crossed)!!!!!"
Haha honestly it's cool. Thing is everyone has there preference with sleeves and I didn't know until this test which would hold most water, I actually thought the moerman would win by a mile, couldn't believe it when it was equal with ninja, I had to triple check the results lol. At the end of that day people should use whatever applicator they want or feel comfortable using, or whatever colour matches there gear lol. Take care buddy!!

For less solution in the applicator barely touch it in the water, or dip one end. This saves the time of ringing out excess solution. I also use an old soap bottle instead of a bucket on select jobs. One last tip: have a (fixed handle) 4inch (10mil) channel detail squeegee, it's a multitasking tool. Cut down used blades work great in it also. Keep it up and your skills will make the work look effortless.

I respect your test but have to disagree with the result. I used pretty much every sleeve out there and the Ettore Pro Plus is by far the best for holding water and overall use. Water retention is on par with Unger Monsoon/Ninja (Best water retention sleeve) but without the crazy dripping. Scrubbing Power is on par with every other sleeve- imo there is not much difference between the brands aside from special scrubbing Sleeves like Pulex Tiger. The Moerman Sleeve on the other hand is the worst sleeve i have ever used when it comes to water retention. Its as bad as the green Unger Microfiber Sleeve. I can barely clean 2 Windows with it while i can clean a whole floor with the Ettore or Unger (schedule 4x per year or +)
