Hi Peter , Liked the review. I had already ordered some washer sleeves to try. The Unger Red Micro , the Bayersan micro, and the Unger Black series power washer sleeve . We’ll see how they all stack up . I’m currently trying the Unger Green power rubber for my standard shaped squeegees , and liking it so far , it literally lasts twice as long I think . I’m definitely a Sorbo Products guy , but am giving some of these other new companies a try 👍

Hi Peter i was looking at your hose reel and here is a great wkly tip, silicone spray into the area where the handle/manifold goes into the reel, also do the other side too as it indicates it and when turning it goes faster and is very smooth trust me it works buddy.....also Silicone spray on your poles and rubbers too(WD40 does a great silicone spray). @@TradMan I enjoy the various videos on window cleaning and like your set up (and the quality of your content and presentation!). I took voluntary severance from a manager's role at the end of 2019 after working 30 years in the Utilities Industry and now at the age of "59" (!!!), I'm looking to get into a part-time activity such as window cleaning / lawn cutting / hedge trimming etc). Prior to my last role I worked as a window cleaner for nearly 5 years so I know what's involved. I'm conscious of the risks if using ladders so I'm thinking of mixing Trad work with a small mobile water fed system. I'll keep you informed of progress!

Hey Trad man, great video, thanks for sharing your thought on the black series. Do you think they will start making the green rubber available for purchase? I seen that Moerman and put out a blue rubber and Sorbo also came out with a new universal wide body rubber. Would be nice to see a head to head review of these new rubbers

IMHO: 1. Bucket has no lid. All my other (cheap ones) have them. 2. Bucket has no bottom mesh (for sandy and really dirty windows to separate debris). Placed old one. 3. Bucket for 35cm applicator or smaller. (Usually i use 45). 4. Power Liquid has not the best smell. 5. Liquid is to harsh for bare hands. Dries your skin. 6. Liquid is not foamy enough. For high pole work i prefer to see what i’m doing. 7. Slip could be better. 8. Fixed handle. Would prefer swivel. 9. Sleeve is actually ok. Wish the abrasive pads were on the both sides. 10. Channel wasn’t black. On promo pics it looks so. Well, painted it black myself. Now it’s perfect. 11. Rubber is very good. Few weeks on the job and still good and sharp. 12. Perfect for starters. 13. Overall 6/10.

I’m liking the black series sleeve and going to order a few more. I actually quite like the new soap as well and I found I work fine with my liquidators, however that was with the new moerman NXT-R rubbers. But I don’t use them all the time so perhaps I just didn’t notice too much of a difference 🤷

Thanks buddy! I've tried the moerman rubber a few months back before it as released and it fell apart in one day, but this stuff may be a bit better? So I've not tried the latest version.

TRAD - MAN THE WINDOW CLEANER surprised they’ve not sent you some mate? I’ve only used it in my 10” liquidator so far it seams not to bad, but as I say I don’t use it all the time (always on my belt might do 1 or 2 fan lights per job) got some 14” to try when I get through the Unger green blade I’m currently using, but the bloody thing just doesn’t want to wear out😂 there great I’ll definitely be getting more of the Unger green👍🏻

I use an accelerator 18" with an Ettore blade, it performs well. I don't cut the full angle, more blade is left for less tip bend. The Unger blades are they soft or firm?

Just a question. When using rubbers that aren't cut to fit the moerman channel, but are the right size, can you use them without cutting the 45 degree (or whatever it is) angle? Like you have it in the moerman channel in this video. I've only been using the moerman duraflex rubbers, so i'm not sure on using others.

Yeah you don't need to cut the angles. I usually use ettore master rubber. Its brill!

What’s your thought on that green rubber versus the razor red rubber just curious? Oh yeah👉🏻👍🏻

So far the Unger has been much better and less problematic. The moerman rubber has left lines, moves around in the channel and has a lot of friction, which means it squeaks really badly on the glass. I'll do a video on the moerman rubber soon 👍🏻

@@TradMan try the “Professional Squeegee” brand. Cheaper, and lasts for a long long time. I rarely have to change my rubbers, and I’m doing loads of construction clean ups. Cheers.

I've used it a few months back before it was released. Fell apart on day one but think they have perhaps improved it a bit since then. I'll need to do a video on it 😉

Use it along with a product like Pink Stuff or Unger Rub out, for great results! I always keep the bronze wool in a handy little pocket on the moerman side kit pouch and a can just grab it quickly and easily when needed. It's great for glass and pvc cleaning. The instructions when you buy it from DA Components, will tell you things not to use it on like painted wooden frames, tinted glass etc.

@@joshfrias2518 ah yes the rubber in the moerman squeegee is squared off. You can use it like that or cut the angles like the manufacturer does. Both work 👍🏻
