Yes, Twin Falls and its associated area are the best that Idaho has to offer. If you're an outsider, please go direct to Twin. No need to go/explore anywhere else.
Thanks for sharing. Now I can imagine what it is look like when I call and ask my son, who lives in twin falls, what is he doing and he says he is fishing. He loves it there.

I grew up in Southeast Idaho!! I used to run in cross-country meets at the golf course under the bridge! 🤩 I could tell you about so many other gems to see and do in Idaho! We have white water rafting, hot springs, epic hiking, volcanic landscapes, waterfalls... It's an outdoor dreamland, in my opinion! 😁 40% of Idaho is national forest, so yes, we definitely have a lot more to offer than just potato fields. Just be aware that there isn't a lot infrastructure for tourism, since its not yet well known for its awesomeness. It's gotten even worse since COVID started, so please please please be patient, be nice, and follow the rules of the parks and nature areas! Great video, great places! Thanks for singing the praises of my home state!! ❤️
@debbiesykes1389 The best time to visit is probably late May through June. Most of the summer activities should be starting, pools will be opening, reservoirs will hopefully have water (We frequently have droughts in Southeast Idaho, so some reservoirs will be empty by mid summer if the farmers need the water) June gives you the best odds for mild to warm temperatures, but we have had sudden random snow storms that late in the year, too, so always check the weather. July and August can be great for water activities, but temperatures can and do get up 100°F. Fall colors don't last long, so that's not really a big thing there. But depending on the weather, September can be mild and beautiful and less busy with all the summer tourists gone. The winter is great for hot springs, and usually skiing is pretty good from January- March.
My buddy miles dasher is. A jumpmaster and a Red Bull flying member. He's the guy that jumps everybody off the Perrine bridge. if you Never get back that way, and you want to jump off the bridge, squirrel suit or bungee, drop my name. Mandy Dallas, he'll jump you. He's really good. Got a great success record.
That part of the state is unique and pretty in it's own way but you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't spend some time in the Sawtooths around Stanley/Redfish Lake. Thanks for sharing!
@@KrazyLyfe4me Stanley itself is a more rustic small town. They have cabins and a lodge right on Redfish Lake, if that’s your vibe. Most likely need to book months, to a year in advance. Just one outfit there if you look up Redfish lodging. Ketchum/Sun Valley is a complete different vibe. World class ski resort with many options. Sun Valley lodge (better than Sun Valley Inn) is one of the coolest with its history, location and services. It’s an hour away from Stanley/Redfish but worth seeing both areas if you’re traveling there.
I live in idaho but aometimes ill hopefully be able to and swim at blue heart when there isnt a zillion people there bcs of all the new people here and everyone posting about it
I'm getting old, 50ish, raised and lived in Idaho most of my life. Most of it is super remote and much of it impossible to get to without a helicopter, raft, or some other form of uncommon transportation. RU-vid has shown me stuff I've been close to my whole life that I've never even heard of let alone seen. Been to or driven through Twin Falls who knows how many times and I've never heard of that blue spring.
Next time, consider: Twin Falls falls, Vinyard Lake, Potholes, cauldron lyn & Miracle hot springs. Plus PLEASE give a warning about stinging needle in box canyon! Thanks
I’m going July 27-August 2 for my birthday. On the list in Twin Falls and Boise cuz I got relatives there. They’re not giving me any ideas where to go explore except McCall. We’re in our 50’s and I love nature, water and mountains, plus small towns. My boyfriend loves historical places. Where you recommend? We’re coming up from Arizona and gonna go through Utah and stay over in Provo. We’re not into very busy places, nor fishing or white water rafting though
@KrazyLyfe4me there are alot of natural hotsprings. There is a book called hot springs of northwest that list them all, some free some not - beware of naked people 😄! Thete are also some great mining stuff, especially near stanley, the sawtooth mountains are stunningly beautiful. Dinosaur bones stuff near Hagerman which also has miracle hot springs (have to paying that one). Balanced rock is also near Buhl. Ice caves are near Shoshone. Arco has a volcano stuff called craters of the moon. So there some things -depends on what you like!have fun
And all of this beauty is only an hour SW of me. Love spring, summer, and fall here, but winter...not so much this winter. It hit -31 degrees one night, and we have had several more nights with subzero temps. I even love snow skiing, snowshoeing, and hitting the different hot springs, but this was TOO cold 🥶
Idaho is not what I thought it was. That water is so clear. The waterfalls and canyon are all so beautiful. We are going to have to check it out. Thanks for sharing this!
I've driven through and even stayed in Twin Falls several times on my way from Pagosa Springs to Seattle and back again. Shoshone Falls is incredible! Nothing but good things to say about the people and the places in Idaho. Love driving along the Snake River...so many things. Love the state! Fantastic video! Thank you!!
We moved to Mountain Home 2 years ago from Cali. Oh boy oh boy do we love it here. So many sweet people so kind here what a difference it’s been for us. We lived in Mississippi for a year before and same thing the people there were very very polite it was always yes mam no mam. Love being away from Cali ❤
We are thinking of going to Idaho and loved this. We also travel full-time and loved gosh vlog! We hope to see you on the road. New subscribers and friends! 💕
Wonderful video! These looked like some amazing spots to visit - although I would have to be pretty overheated to consider jumping in water that cold 😅 loved it!
So glad you loved Idaho! It's pretty amazing! I had the privilege of living in the twin falls area for a decade and a half and i wish life didn't call me to move away!
I as you did enjoy Twin Falls, My father at the time owned the John Deere dealership. i spent most of the time i was there to experience the most of the valley and beyond. Red Fish Lake, is and has been one of my favorite places on this Earth. Now i went on a raft trip down the Salmon river, and even though that was incredible , the lake has drawn me back several times.
@@JJacks920 I understand where they are coming from though. I’ve seen my quiet beautiful beach town get overrun by new residents, I’ve seen the wildlife die off, the traffic increase, the cost of living increase, and the quality of life decline. Update: was too broke to go on the road trip and too broke to move lol. I think the southeast is where I belong, just not Florida
Wow didn't realize Idaho had such an awesome Landscape,,, I thought it was all Potatoes Farming or Agriculture. Shoshone Falls is my favorite such an awesome video, and the drone views are stunning 👦🏻🏞🧗🏻♀️ Spectacular Hikes, and the Water above, and below amazing
Yeah we were very impressed with Idaho! It was so beautiful. And all the places were in the middle of nothing. Agricultural areas like you said, so they take you by surprise. Glad you liked it 🤗
