Hey that’s me! Thank you for coming to feature our Creamery, my wife and I follow a few travel blogs and yours is great! Just after you left I texted her and she said “oh you should’ve told them about blue heart and box canyon and thousand springs” but it looks like you made it there and featured them beautifully. Stop by again anytime. -Eric at Cloverleaf Creamery
Eric! You were the best and y’all’s hospitality left a huge impact on us! 🙌🏼 I was just about to message y’all that the video was up, but I’m so glad you saw it. Thanks for the behind the scenes look and the delicious ice cream (we had to force ourselves to not buy a half gallon in Ketchum 🤣)
So glad people can travel and share the journey with the rest of the world at this moment. I think I got the recommendation from Kate and Nate. You guys are another awesome couple. And Idaho is just beautiful!!!!! Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for watching and following along Aaron! 🤗 We are so happy we are able to be back on the road right now and that we have found ways to stay safe doing so. We’ve loved getting to share Idaho with everyone!
Loved this one 👌 the Gem state looks fabulous , thanks for putting the maps in what a great touch , love the education and entertainment awesome job guys 👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much for taking us with you on your travels I love how you explained exactly where you are in the map ( im a visual person) also including how long it takes you to hike or canoe love the details. Every night I look forward to your travels videos and your awesome food experiences.
Thanks! Watched this earlier and added several places y’all went to to our trip we are currently on (June 2022). The creamery was fantastic! The totem of Ice Cream Cones was missing when we arrived. Safe travels!
We also love and hate that we exposed it. We don’t want these spots to get overcrowded (we absolutely loved how less busy Idaho is compared to WA), but man, Idaho is such a beautiful state and deserves so much love 😍
@@AdventuresofAplusK I couldn't agree more we have soooo many hidden gems all across the state. I'm so glad you guys got the chance to come and enjoy it. 😊

Gosh, is it me or has A plus K stepped up their vlog game recently?! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful area of the country that I want to visit one day. Plus the yummy ice cream 😋. And it’s always good to see Kona make a cameo appearance.
We sure are trying! 3 months in quarantine gave us a lot of time to study some new things! So glad you enjoyed this one and Kona’s little appearances 🥰
Box Canyon is a loop. You will eventually come to an area you could actually swim in if the weather is nice. Then you circle around and end up on a trail/road that takes you back to the top. Some beautiful views if you keep going all the way around.
@@AdventuresofAplusK if you haven’t been yet (I haven’t seen all your videos) the little city of rocks is a great trail. I think it took me about 30 minutes to get there from Twin Falls. Seemed like a more rugged version of the Garden of the Gods in Colorado.
I miss it out west so bad! Lived in Utah for four years and did lots of exploring in the surrounding states. Idaho is so beautiful... I hope I can live there sometime and just soak in all it’s beauty 😍
It's been said by others, but I agree that the intro was very good. The channel is about both of you and when you took turns to talk us through what was coming up, it was such a lovely touch (and not one which other 'couple channels' I follow have used - it's usually one of them who talks in the intro.) My knowledge of Idaho used to expand as far as ''potatoes', and suddenly I have a list of places I want to visit now! The colours in the water were just stunning - I think for that alone, the drone was well worth the investment! Balanced rock was impressive - more than the one in Arches in my opinion. It's interesting how clever marketing can push things to the forefront when really, there's better out there! Have you guys taken time off work this week to explore Idaho, or are you fitting it in around your jobs like usual? Very much looking forward to the next video - hoping those hot springs in the intro make an appearance as they look spectacular!
We always get so excited to hear your thoughts on our videos! We’re so glad you like the intro. We wanted to try something a bit different for the series to hopefully help tie all of the videos together. 😄 We definitely got our money’s worth out of the drone in Idaho haha. We aren’t used to visiting places with less drone restrictions and with less people that we actually feel comfortable flying it up so much! I took 2 days off of work + had the 4th of July holiday, which gave us 5 days to explore without any other obligations (or have to stick just to the weekends) and it was amazing! Definitely taking more vacation time in August for a couple other fun and new (to us) spots we have planned! The hot springs will be coming up in a few videos and we cannot wait to share those 🙌🏼
Completely forgot about the July 4th holiday, but that's smart getting a 5 day break for just 2 days off work! We always hear that you guys get so few days off in comparison to what's a legal requirement in the UK. If we work full time (5 days a week) then companies must give 28 days paid leave as a minimum. Though many companies give more as an incentive/benefit. I have a lot of admiration for you both because of how hard you work - putting in a full working week then using evenings and weekends to work on this channel too. I thought Idaho was going to be a 2 day/2 videos like SLC, so great to know there's more 🥳
Wow, I’m jealous of 28 days! I get 20 total, but thankfully haven’t used many due to COVID and have 9 planned to take off next month! It’s really really hard to juggle working and filming in the same day (we did it in Boise, but had to spread it out over two days) and we hate when we can only film on the weekends when we want to explore longer (but have other spots we also want to visit), so it was great to actually get to explore a place more properly!
Box Canyon looked pretty cool! It looks like you had the whole place to yourself to enjoy. Also, you guys and the ice cream! 😂 Sometimes having that big ol' camera pays off with backstage treatment. 😁🎥
I got hooked on your channel while researching Italy. Now you all have a van which is my end game goal. Very cool. Try and make it up to the Island Park area and go see Mesa falls. Around 10am there is a rainbow. I found it even cooler than Yellowstone. My parents live there so we visit. Also, Lewis and Clark caverns in Montana is awesome and close
Thank you so much Bonnie! We have heard good things about Mesa Falls and may have to see if we can squeeze it in when we are back in the state in a few weeks. We appreciate the suggestions! 🙌🏼
Everyone's got haters I guess... idk how you could have 10 dislikes on this video... awesome depiction of Idaho I live in south east Idaho and its absolutely beautiful and a hidden Gem fs!!! awesome video
It’s pretty exciting when a place is so incredible that we can’t stop throwing out superlatives! Spoiler alert: it’s probably not going to get any better in future videos 🤣 We need a thesaurus app on our phones!
I keep watching your videos and I absolutely love them! Can't get enough. I Envy you guys, I plan on saving up to travel once I get myself out of debt, but that ain't gonna be for a while. Until then, thanks for the videos, they give me plenty ideas of where to go when I do go off on my U.S. Road Trip. I do have a question, what do you guys do with your dog if you can't take him with you? Do you leave him in the Van with the A/C going? Or with all the windows down or something? When I go on my big road trip around the U.S., I really want to bring my cat with me, thinking about maybe getting a dog and bringing him too. Tell me how you guys are traveling with and dog, and how's it all going.
Thank you SO much for watching Josh! We hope you can go on that US road trip soon! As for Kona, we have a few different things we will do with her depending on weather, how long we are gone, etc. We wrote this blog with everything we do for her, including in the van, to keep her safe and happy. Hopefully it helps! adventuresofaplusk.com/full-time-van-life-with-a-dog-tips-for-traveling-with-a-dog/ It's definitely a lot more work to travel with a dog, as you have to consider them with everything you do, but we love having her with us!
HI A/K, super video. We were in Idaho in late may 2019. made our way from Boise to Twin falls to Idaho Falls. Box canyon looks very beautiful. Did you get to see any bridge jumpers in Twin falls?? be safe S/T
@@AdventuresofAplusK yes, we got lucky and saw a bunch. We walked over to the visitor center and talked to many of them, they certainly have more guts than us, LOL.
@@AdventuresofAplusK let me know if you figure it out!! And feel free to comment again on this post if you'd like a better way to contact me and need someone to show you around :)
Adventures of A plus K you won’t regret it I promise, all my wife wanted to see was a bear the entire time we were in Wyoming at Yellowstone and Grand Teton and on the way home we ran into that place and it made her entire trip.
Awww that’s amazing! I’m glad she got her wish! We aren’t sure we will make it to that area this time around, but we will be back to Yellowstone and Grand Teton again in the future!
This was not a typical weather year in Idaho. It's usually over a 100 degrees from June 30th until into Sept. And those canyons are full of rattlesnakes! Be careful.
Absolutely love watching your vids but there are so many adverts on them now it makes them hard to watch! Just when you’re getting into the vid - bam! - an advert smacks you in the face 😔😔
Hmmm that’s odd...we only ever turn on skippable ads at the beginning? 🤔 We will never turn on in-video ads, so let me make sure something didn’t get messed up.
Update: looks like something did get messed up. I think RU-vid changed a setting and automatically applied them starting July 27. 😭 Super sorry about that! We never intentionally tried to have mid-video ads and thank you for letting us know. Fixing it now!
We are so glad you told us, we may not have known otherwise-thank you! 😃 We manually went and changed all 100+ past videos and changed a setting so it won’t automatically do it for future ones. So hopefully it won’t happen again!
