A budget laptop is the Lenovo V14 or Ideapad 1 (both under $400). This stuff is NOT "budget".

I might be late but .. Acer swift is very sensible to phisical shock. If you hit it a little by mistake it will show "no bootable device" and you'll lose everything you have.

Lenovo Ideapad flex 5 is the worst laptop I'd had. The hardward is very bad , the hinges comes hard with the time and it can broke the screen. Also, it's so fragile.

My Acer Aspire 5's battery failed within a couple years. Also it's more of a gaming laptop than a work laptop.

My Acer Aspire 3 with in 2 years of being bought, the charging IC and display IC gave in and it was hard to find someone to fix it as every Acer recommended repair stores were charging me over retail price of the laptop.
