I've definitely gotta agree,I have no shame in saying I'm not good with combat,most fights I lose,it's hard to be skillful with how lag most servers are and people cheating=just grew a kent couple days ago and it's been a game changer,my style it fits perfect,plenty of stam,high bleed damage,killed my first adult sucho yesterday,felt good being able to actually fight,even the ones I've lost,they knew they had a fight when it was over.

Thx, I love the Spino because of it's unique look. Good to know he can stand on his own.

Its still a good dino to survive solo with and that is the point, not to go on a call of duty killing streak

they need put in uncomfortability mechanic and better herding/packing methods that isnt based on size and diet, rather is should be by the dinosaur species. and it need to be automatically done not manually . game is annoying when ppl mega pack

Bars is good, but it's weakness are raptors, they basically bully Bars unless it's near water. I just can't play him until the pounce is nerfed, I love my cow too

@@nok4799 when u have a raptor or two on ur Bar, push the side they are on up against the side of a cliff, when the raptor runs out of stam instead of them falling off on the side (since they cant)it ports them behind u, right in the sweet spot for a tail slam.

I tried growing a Kentro but found it hard with that little tail, for some reason stego is way easier for me to use

@@silvanusasher446 stego def delivers more raw base damage..I haven't grown one yet,I think what I like about Kent is you can be more carefree with stam management..but the power with steg makes the difference in having to run.

@@westealzplaydosnakes5561 true, also the Kent is way quieter than stego. A true stealth runner. I was surprised at how fast the stego runs

The Steg can basically solo anything, I’ve 3v1 spinos before and even rexes and suchos but once you run out of stamina you’re pretty much screwed :/ And the fact that it’s recovery time is so slow it doesn’t really help the cause

Thats true. But also depends on what the eo does and where he goes.. Me(laten) and a thalasso killed a grown bars yesterday. Well a random eo showed up and helped US killing the Bars.... but we were nipping on the bars already for a long time xd

Venom is getting more nerfed soon, which makes it useless for the Meg now

I personally haven’t played Campto but I think the pachy would be a better solo Dino than the Campto. The last part of your sentence involves group play, so it doesn’t really count. Pachy has great stamina regen and has 2 dmg abilities plus lone hunter. Kick does 80 dmg and headbutt does 40 dmg iirc. I think if Campto was better at solo more people would be using it. I rarely ever seen any camptos.

Any small dino can be used for solo, Campto is just the worst stat wise but you can play any dino very well. It's all about you and your playstyle.

Campto sprint stamina is nearly infinite lmao

Spino is better. Losing charge bite sucks, but people misused it constantly making it only good for intimidation. Without it ppl definitely attack me more now but since spino got lone survivor.. it's pretty nuts

I almost never die when i grow dinos. I grow my dinos in birch forest, then move on to the swamp and then i go to sand cavens. Those three areas i do in a circle. Birch forest, swamp, sand cave and back to birch forest. You learn pretty quick how to make it fast and effective.

Easy and usually quiet farming at the Broken tooth canyon/Ripple beach/Stego mountain loop Other then that just walk and listen for footsteps, sit in bushes and wait the timer for logout if things sound really sketchy. But if someone hears you spawn in, you're probably just dead lol but you should be logging at homecave anyways to get your extra growth bonus.

@@tool3769 I must be deaf cause I can hear everything in the game super loud except the footsteps of other Dino’s so listening never helped, and I just want to grow, I don’t want to play the game for 8 hours just to get abilities, where is the skip to adolescence button at least, and last place I died was at stego mountain after being ran up on from behind only hearing his mf roar when he was already like 30 feet from me, and I was basically already dead when I heard him, and I never go to the home cave cause I always die before I decide I want to leave the game, help my dumb a$$ now

@@mikedepaepe6212 I don't even use a headset and i keep my tv volume very low, not hearing footsteps is not whats getting you killed i'd bet. You need to be more aware of your surroundings. That dino you said killed you should never have been able to get that close without you seeing him. You need to keep your head on a swivel and as the others have mentioned don't quest in hotspots. You mentioned stego mountain, IMO that's a hotspot. It's not very "hot" by any means but it still sees quite a lot of action. I quest in Whistling columns/dark woods, theres a shark corpse at the southern beach in dark woods and there's a herbi corpse on top of the mountain in whistling columns. There's also water in both areas and two berry bushes one near-ish to the shark corpse and one right outside the homecave. Learn where the resources are so you dont have to search for them each time. Never ever log out outside of a homecave. That's why i like whistling columns, the homecave is right in the middle of the zone so no matter where you are you can get to it fast. Logging outside a homecave is a death sentence as your damage and speed will both be debuffed after logging in (as an adult). Non-adults need to log out inside a homecave because theyll get an xp bonus for every hour that theyre offline (maximum five) each xp bonus grants your next quest double the growth time. So in other words, if youre not using the homecave logout buff, you'll be doing up to twice the amount of work. If you're a fast dino you can hang around the bigger slower ones as long as you keep an eye on them, but other than that, flee from all dinosaurs on sight. (Preferably to a homecave to switch servers) There is little to no "comradery" between any carnivores, however, there is a fair bit between herbivores which makes them slightly easier to grow as youre more likely to not be attacked on sight.* You can always risk a group invite, but it is indeed very risky. Using global chat is the best bet for grouping up. *(as a carnivore you'll be targeted equally by both herbis and carnis, but as an herbi you will be targeted less often by other herbis)

That's true. Also for deinonychus. Survived that Alio only because I was hiding in my bush. Was my last option too because my Stam was empty

Kentro, meg, pachy... Easy to survive with if solo

@@newman30_ but meg can swim and its easy to survive with, as for pachy, its basically a herbivore laten so its easy to survive with, and kentro can still hit a laten latched onto it, but in general also very survivable and survives actually better against latens than the pycno you mentioned and some mentioned in the video, dont forget this is for surviving as solo players, not to go out on a call of duty killing streak in ic and gp as a solo

Yeah Bars is the only Apex I actually like using solo, everyone leaves you alone unless it's a mix pack, and if you do get attacked you pretty much tank everything while they lose chunks of health fast with tail slam. But after the pounce update , I wouldn't recommend pulling him out until they get nerfed

@@nok4799 Yes. You will die as a Bars when you bump into a bigger group, but you will have fun dying, cause you will inflict a lot of damage.

@jimmyrustler2282 stomp is so easy to dodge and cw isn't all that important if you turn like a semi
