Toyota just bought back a 2007 tundra with 1,000,000 miles on the original engine and transmission.. I think I'm moving in from my traditional Ram and going Tundra next.
Ive learned the hard way, if you want to do some serious offroading and overlanding, side pipes are the way to go. They keep getting pinched out the back. Those Magnaflows are my fav.
I scooped an MBRP 3in single exit for my 07 tundra and couldn't be happier. Little over $500, it's a couple hundred cheaper than the kits you just listed in your video, and sounds way better IMO. There is no drone, just a pleasant rumble at highway speeds, nice sound in the cab. lots of reviews complained of drone but it is just general exhaust noise resonating in the cabin, I wouldn't go as far as to call it "drone" I've driven clapped out shit boxes with straight pipes and fart can mufflers that cause excessive drone. You can carry a conversation at highways speeds. This system is perfect. It makes the 5UR motor ound aggressive on throttle, but nothing like a clapped out hillbilly truck.
I just has a Flowmaster series 40 put on my Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom today, not to load, just right, converters left on have 2, no resonators on my exhaust, they just removed the muffler and flapper and welded a extension..I like the sound
I have the best on my 2018 Teeyota Platium. Factory true duel TRD exhaust with TRD chrome turnouts behind each rear wheel. Best looking and sound of Teeyota trucks.
Couldn't agree more. I've been running the 8" BAM setup since October 2020 and have been trying hard to find something I don't love about it. (Edited the year as I do not yet own a functional time machine)
I Agree I joined Tundras.com forum and researched exhausts and everyone was praising dirty deeds BAM exhaust. Just installed mine recently and not only had improvements on sound but gained a few extra MPG and horsepower. “Budget Dump” on a 2007 Tundra Limited.
I’ve been a Toyota fan for years now and made a mistake in buying my Ram 1500. The best thing I’ve done was adding a Corsa sport exhaust. When I trade my Ram in for a tundra I’ll be going with a Corsa exhaust in that also. Absolutely no drone, stainless steel and 4.5 tips. Best sounding exhaust I’ve ever heard. I’ve had Flowmaster, Borla , MBRP and now Corsa. Corsa hands down the best
Liked the sound of the 14 inch magnaflow on the video. I had one put on my 2020 tundra. It sounds great until you get up to 70 miles an hour, then it becomes very obnoxious. It's all I can hear in the cab with the Windows up. Can't stand it I will never spend my money on magnaflow again. Stick with flowmaster
Dirty Deeds Industries with the 8" BA Muffler. Credit to the sound of the Flowmaster Super 10 at the end tho, its similar. But you could be losing back pressure with the dual out. I'm open to correction if I'm wrong about that.
I love the outlaw ❤. Deeper than a jag, perfect for the truck. the regular super 10 is not bad either. read a comment that said they rust though for some reason.
Wow that one side in the first tundra 18” was almost touching the spare tire . I bet he will have a flat melted tire . I wouldn’t want mine that close but great job and videos
I came here to see if I would hear anything better than the TRD Duals. I did not. I guess ill be sticking with them. The single out flowmaster sounds the most similar to the TRD duals but doesn’t look as nice.
I have a 2007 tundra I am curious which exhaust gives the most power gain. and I am looking to get long tube headers as well any information will be appreciated thanks in advance
Hard to pick . I like them all. Neighbors might not like me warming up the truck at 430/5 in the morning. Does messing with the factory backpreasure affect the engine in anyway? I always wondered that.
