ASUS TUF has issues with chip idling voltage which results in your system locking up. You have to turn off a setting in the bios to try to prevent that but even after, every windows update that has anything to do with power management is probably going to cause you issues. Also Windows 11 requires some bios settings changes.

Absolutely No! Best motherboard for 5900x is GB x570S Master w/o chipset propeller IMO

Have a x570s master w/5950x that just shit the bed. Now looking for a replacement. Don't overclock or game. Used primarily for video editing. GEN 4 128GB ram & 6TB NVMe along with damndemic priced CPU, so I will not be scrapping GEN 4 anytime soon. Don't think I'll go Aorus again.

5900x are not worth to buy in 2024 !!1 costs of it are same or more then 7700/x and performance pretty closre in productivity while gaming way under and in few months will come zen5

the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X is still an excellent CPU for gaming and productivity even in 2024 thanks to its 12 cores and 24 threads. While it you may not have support for pricier DDR5 RAM or PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs, you should have no problem keeping up with the latest titles for several years to come.

@@mdnormatnor5226 no its not anymore for price,basically 5900x now costs as price of r5 9600x will be and in gaming will be way slower while in productivity maybe 10% faster

unfortunatelly 5900x &5950x gets old and outdate with its performance pretty quickly in 2023-2024 !1 13600kf for 210$ totally destroys both in gaming and better in productivity then 5900x and slightly under 5950x and both of this zen3 cpus costs (way) more!! from zen3 cpus only worth of their prices now are r5 5600/x,5500 maybe 5700x/x3d and that is it
