Yeah, I would definitely say that Oirat is a really good country for WC, especially after the 1.29 Manchu update, since they get insane money from china that is enough to carry them through with the early and mid game, insane missions for entire claims on the most developed regions in the world and good starting ideas, relatively good starting position with mostly weaker hordes with bad ai horde management, and the now buffed early wars against Ming, not to mention great starting vassal that offers a free 100 development or so and OP horde mechanics. And that is not considering buffing yourself even more with demolishing Ming and forming Yuan without EoC to get insane ideas and more claims whole still being a horde, access to one of the largest culture groups at the start date, access to the tengri religion at game start which can fundamentally eliminate unrest combined with humanist ideas, great early and mid game armies to steam-roll with cavalry, and the decision later to form the mongol empire, which is even more OP. I would even argue that Oirat should be placed at number one spot.

my first one was old Ming :v

I played a long time before getting the nerves to do a WC. I did it as Timurids -> Yuan -> Mongol Empire in 1.28. My biggest mistake was not converting to Animist and then Tengri early.

Everyone here doing world conquests while I only play roleplay games. Maybe that's why I have 700 hours in the game and can barely play Ironman.

@@kevinboros7427 No mate. Just play what you feel like. What I've found is that you learn the same amount no matter how you play. I played for some 1.5 years before saying 'fuck it, let's try a WC'. Then I almost did it and got bored.

Over 8k here, I'll never do a wc. Did one in EU 3 and the last 50-100 years were just nausea inducing tedium and late game EU IV is even worse as you're basically unstoppable longer there's just a lot more mop-up work to be done.

Here too I can get close but I usually see what I can do after I finish an Achievement. I think I can do it as oirat or ottomans though. But the late game is fun but if you have to super min max a micro for late game wars and to get it.

This. I played an MP game with my cousin, me being Muscovy and him being Brandenburg. We were constantly fighting coalition wars and his Prussia couldn't sustain it so it was practically me against all of Europe except Northern Germany. I ofc had infinite manpower (especially after building the soldiers' households in Southern Russia) but also some 200 ducats per month. Basically make Siberia all trade companies and spam it with manufactories. Slap on the +10% Trade Value TC investment and there you go. I spawned Global Trade as fucking Russia.

I've only done it twice, once as the Ottomans, and once as Ryukyu. Never plan on doing it again ever. Maybe if I form Rome as Italy in my current playthrough, I'll see how far I can go

The year changes depending on who you start as but yes. Late game tedium is one of the biggest "difficulty" factors for getting a wc.

400 hours is beginner territory, most do their first WC between 1000-2000 hours, so you still have plenty of time

They are nice in WC. But I don't think they are good in one faith, because annexing vassal costing a huge negative opinion modifier

lolwut? Russia does not have "great ideas" although they aren't as terrible as they used to be and they have probably the most difficult start of any of the "major" nations.

@@hellomynameisjoao 1) it's not "free colonization on all of Siberia" it costs dip points better spent on annexing fed vassals 2) +50% force limit only matters if you can actually afford to build to (or over) force limit 3) the same applies to artillery combat ability 4) the -ae actually has minimal impact for a typical Russia because of the distances generally involved, they usually aren't doing anything that mobs of nations care about until they're big enough that AE is just a number Yes, the RCC is nice as is the -fire damage but the rest are nothing special particularly when you compare to nations like Poland, France, or Prussia

Thanks! I did one faiths with: - Poland (fully on YT) - France - Spain - Burgundy Didnt even try more bacause it required too much boring micro-managing. Recomendations? Same as here, maybe except Oirat. Sunni and Catholic are the best for it. Just remember to use milions of vassals for conversion

@@ZlewikkTV yepp, with Sunni not anymore though... they (vassals) always guarantee religious minorities in heathen provinces and refuse to convert anything for a player. Not even sure if Sunni 1 faith is still doable in 1.30.

Definitely still doable. You can praparage your religion in most of trade nodes + even if vassals dont convert you can still convert their provinces by yourself (which is quicker because it's a full core)
