Let's be honest, the type of people who would buy bags like these aren't making it past the first week anyway. So, I guess they make them orange so we can we the bags months later.
Same that last one was a hell of a deal you can fit a lot of stuff and had all the stuff you need for only 200 bucks s*** I've had backpacks are only almost a hundred bucks so that's a hell of a deal
I made my own packs for my wife and myself, 14 days each, with both of us together, that gives us 28 days with looking for anything, now take out our guns and we can get squirrels 🐿️ and other small game, could stretch that 28 days to 40 days without a problem.
I made my pack for about 1 1/2 weeks, donuts at I think 15kg, so fucking light for it, while I was in the military 3 days where 20kg or even more depending how cold it was.
All these bags are made and shot in sunny dry situations, what about countries where it rains for days on end . You need space for dry clothes and what to do with the wet ones.
These kids are okay, would like it if they left an extra pouch empty so you can add some of your stuff in like some extra food, and they should add an Animal Defense pouch some bear spray loud bangs Spearhead small booklet with information on predators and how they act and hunt you won't be the only one hungry in the woods in an emergency.
Most peoples 72 hour bag will be however much liquor they have on-hand, TV til the power goes out and getting on the gub’ment bus. They’re not gonna need paper masks & work gloves. Not until they get to their new home at the work camp
The contents of these bags are not sufficient. There is stuff in there that will fail, food that doesn't have enough calories, and things you will never use but you'll have to haul around anyway. This is especially true if you buy it and never open it. You simply won't know what you've got or how to use it when it comes time to use it.
DON'T bug out! Bug in, especially if all your primary, long term assets are at home. Sure, keep a bag just in case. I prefer a suitcase or duffle bag given my vehicle is my second home and can pack 20 to 30 times the gear you carry on your body. Triple triple those numbers if you have a trailer. With pre-planning along a designated route with hidden supply caches along the way you can get there in one piece with minimal effort. It'll take a major asteroid hit along the eastern seaboard to get me to move.
@@DanSlotea He's right though, if you can, use your house in an emergency. More likely that not, you are more secure and have far more resources in your house than in a bag. I am not saying that its dumb to build a bug out bag and train with it, but the most prepared and safest place available to you is your home. If not, the bag is your last resort.
Think about the threats that are more likely. Do your research on crime, accidents, etc. Do you live and drive a lot around bodies of water? Can you swim? Do you live in an area that gets very hot or warm? Weather kills too. What potentials for danger are you most likely to come in contact with? Are you prepared? Gear is cool, but training and building on skills is necessary to be efficient with any equipment. Don't buy random equipment and not train with it. Make sure you do research on equipment too, garbage stuff will tear/break when the going gets mildly tough and training around broken shit isn't beneficial.
I guess if your survival plan includes living off the land, you need these things. It's basically camping gear. Personally, I believe living off the land in unfamiliar territory is a very bad idea. I would look into moving out of any city now. Just sayin.
Jail is the best place to bug out! Here is why, water, food, shelter is done, medical is done jail is a safe place that sets you up with government care and you must be cared for while you are in there, It's a free hotel, home, hospital, All homeless people should go to jail so they get looked after and don't need to suffer on the street on thier own. In jail the government MUST look after you.
Why would you have a backpack that advertises to everybody during a bad situation ...hey look at me I have essentials you might need !!! You need a plan old backpack for this situation !!!
The type of people who would buy these premade "Bug Out Bags" aren't making it more than a week or so in a real SHTF situation. On behalf of those of us still kicking months later, we thank you for making your bags orange and/or waterproof so they're easier to find on supply runs.
That's quite a bit. I bought a NAR IFAK and have some smaller medical equipment for lesser injuries. What do you have beyond dealing with mostly minor infections, bleeding, pain, and broken bones? Cause I can deal with any of those things with less than 22 liters of medical equipment. Do you have stuff for tracheostomy? Or are you just able to deal with several of the same injuries? I am genuinely curious btw.
Everyone with even a modicum of survival knowledge all pretty much agrees that your ‘bugout’ bag should be tailored to you and your specific needs , so if you do need to buy a preassembled one then there’s not really much point in actually buying one , because you obviously don’t have the sense or ability to use what’s in it to survive ! 😳🤦♂️😂😂😂
Why do people think that only tactical gear will make you a target in situations? shtf scenario: oh look a goup of people let's get them: leader of the group: no they have no backpack let them go,,,? Gtfooh
The strange thing about these pre made kits is just how terrible they are, yet very expensive and almost all identical. Its as if they have been manufactured by people looking to simply sell something to people that want peice of mind well having no knowledge of the subject
*doomsday* preppers were mocked. Stop lumping them in with the rest of us. Uprooting your life, and compromising your familys finances, or spending thousands of dollars to be the most conspicuous "grey man" for miles should be shamed. It is bad and you should feel bad. Uncharted is a waste of money and better can be built for less. Same with rhino and most of these packs. Stop making these lists as if experience went behind them when they are just glorified ads.
Pre-made bags are a good starting point for beginners. I'd rather my neighbours had a few of these packs than nothing and relying on my preps instead. (There are better pre-made bags for sure.) To be honest it doesn't matter how much experience, skills, resources, and luck we have. When the "SHTF" happens, it means humanity has tipped the balance too far and we are all toast. Cooperation is the best survival strategy as proven by billions of years of evolution plus game theory. The only guarantees in life are death and taxes.
@@no.9516 Are you telling me you have a multiweek bug out bag for less than $200? You must've found access to an abandoned warehouse full of free shit.
