You guys should have put “ TOP 5 BEST VAULTS IN VAULT FINALS” because if it was the top 5 best in the whole Olympics, the list wouldn’t be like that at all.

Rebeca sem dúvidas é a melhor saltadora do mundo, na atualidade, junto com a Simone Biles. Mas o destaque dessa final foi o primeiro salto da coreana, super difícil e com uma execução ótima.

Notice the landings on these vaults? Most land outside the lines showing, sloppiness & imprecision. It is also an area of deduction for the judges.

Arm chair critics make me laugh. Angelina is an Olympic team champion, 3rd in the Olympic individual all around, and a World Champion so her vault must not be too bad! 😊

Melnikova was a bronze medalist and olympic finalist on vault. But ok her cheng was a little off form i think she didn't have enough time to fix it.

because that’s the technique she has and it is the way it should be done??? If she didn’t make it like that you would also complain, i’m pretty sure 😊😊. Gymnastics is not about “showing off”, it’s about executing the best way you can a certain skill, as she did (even with going out of bounds), which earned her a well deserved gold medal

from what I've heard it might help you rise in the air more instead of twisting too early. and the "set" or when you thrust your arms up is important for getting more height. it's so exquisite to watch either way. her technique is the most flawless I've seen except for the pike down.

to add, look at Mykayla Skinner and how she gets so little block on her Cheng, twists too early, and has to rush the twists in.
