M8274 after 50 years making them has to tell you something. And 20 more of the Bellview which started the m8274 . Line speed is unmatched . Aftermarket even copied and upgraded it including twin motor , 6 hp 7 hp 8hp, 9hp motors. Optional motor brakes operated by air are available for instant stop . Solid drums available due to crushing drums with that torque.

Warn just sucks. I bought a U. S. MADE 800+ dollar winch. In two years, the motor corroded inside . It was never in any water or even wet. To put your name on a winch for a 4x4 and it not even be moisture resistant really shows what kind of company it is.

You should replace the warn with a 12k APEX Badlands. warns are pos. The Badlands is worlds better and is an absolute beast.

@@capmidnite Absolutely. You obviously have not seen one of these in action. You should watch the review videos. They last and perform better than a warn. Both are built in China.

@@gabrielreyes8476 You hit a key point that all the winches now are made in China. I just bought the Vevor 18.000-pound pull winch so haven't used it to pull anything just run it after full installation.
