Officially, the Ravens-Steelers rivalry just passed the 25 year mark, but the bad blood between the team actually goes way back, as the modern day Ravens are actually the first incarnation of the Cleveland Browns. Even though the team's colors and records remained in Cleveland, the players and front office that moved to Baltimore inherited the bad blood they had with the Steelers. Although the modern Browns still retain their rivalry with the Steelers, it took nearly twenty years before they could finally stick it to the Black and Gold Brigade. Most Steelers fans see the Ravens as the inheritors of the original Browns-Steelers rivalry, and until recently, the modern Browns are reduced to a punchline and a n "easy" insult to sling around.

How about the Steelers and Raiders. Damn in the 1970's the teams met all the time in the regular season and playoffs and each team wanting to not just hurt players but win at all cost. There was blood spilled each game.

I remember hearing one sportscaster describing a rivalry between the Oakland Raiders and another team [which I forget, let's call them Team B]. He said most players from Team B were graduates of Penn State, while most of the Raiders were graduates of the state pen. That was in the 70s and 80s when the Raiders had a reputation to uphold.
