I'm shocked that Antithesis didn't land on this list... Being able to transfer any phenomena between two things is insane, godly. Like, whatever your opponent does to you, you just give it back to them and you're fine, like nothing happened to you.

Tsukishima doesn't alter just memories, he alters the past itself, both his own and his victim's. It's why Book of the End is a near perfect counter to the Almighty, something no other ability can even remotely boast. EDIT: I hope the anime shows us more of the Antithesis and Ichigo's True Bankai to see how they actually stack up. I have full faith those two are definitely among the best of the best.

I still feel Orihime's power are greater than most people realize. in the arrancar arc when Aizen shows her the Hogyoku she is fully convinced that her powers can undo the hogyoku. it never came to that, but if she has that potential her powers are clearly on another level

I think askin’s ability the death dealing is worth an honorable mention. Outside of physical attacks, if it’s not a one-hit kill askin is nearly impossible to take down cause he can just become resistant to almost anything

How did the Antithesis not make it into the honorable mentions? Obviously it's not top 5 but it's up there with the balance

My top5 favourite bleach abilities are on Ichigo Kurosaki, Ishida Uryu, Yoruichi, Zaraki Kenpachi and Byakya Kuchiki in my opinion amd those are one of my favourite characters defienitily the beautiful cat women Yoruichi. 🐈‍⬛💜

Book of the end is pretty broken.

Aizen and Kyoka Suigetsu will always be terrifying. One moment he's in front of you, then suddenly he's walking away behind as you crumble with blood spurting from a gash. It's interesting how even before his training and power up Kenpachi was lethal without even trying. It's ironic then that in the grand scheme of things all this power will likely land them in hell, particularly the Shinigami.

Speaking of the almighty and ichimonji I can't wait to see them soon in the anime... Though as an uryu fan I think the antithesis deserves a spot here in the honorable mentions cuz indeed it's not that versatile but still broken

Always really liked Book of the End, it is a very creative and eerie power with a ton of potential. The Almighty does indeed deserve it’s place at the top. Solid list overall!

Mature Daiguren Hyorinmaru (Conceptual Power Null that can negate Soul King Hax, Freezes all forms of matter including raw energy, massive several mile radius AOE) 4.) Ichimonji (self explanatory) 5.) Balance (self explanatory) Runner ups would be Kyoka Suigetsu, Book of the End, Orihime’s Fullbring, the other SS Schrifts, Visionary etc

Book of the End is powerful that it can alternate the memories of his victims and inanimate objects. Ichimoji can reduce the opponents strength, speed and ability and can replace it with a word. Kyoka Suigetsu. Once glanced at its shikai, the victims are permanently hypnotized even for years. The weakness is the user's Spiritual Pressure drains but since Aizen has immense Spiritual Pressure it's not a problem, it's useless against Tosen since he's blind and the victim must touch the blade itself. The Visionary stems the powers of imagination. Gremmy has a powerful ability however since he's a literal brain, Gremmy needs to have high concentration, cannot have any thoughts or fears of death and have a body that can compensate when wanting to have high Spirit Energy. I always loved Orihime's Shin Shin Ruka. The ability to reject reality and she mostly uses it for healing despite not being a healing ability. Soi Fon and her Zubinebachi kills her victim within two strikes on the same spot however it's glaring weaknesses Soi Fon has to have Spiritual Pressure far greater than her victim. Gerard Valkyrie The Miracle aka the zenkai boost he gains when he takes damage. The Superstar owned by Mask is a typical pro wrestler hype move when James cheers for him, he becomes stronger. The obvious #1. The Almighty. Yhwach can foresee the future and prevent any damage he takes and also becomes stronger with each use. Though it has weaknesses, it difficult to exploit it like Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu.

The Balance should’ve made the list, fortune and misfortune is practically all around us, and it’s even more around in the world of Bleach. And Askin’s Deathdealing should’ve been an honorable mention

I always wondered where the misinformation about Gremmy came from. Gremmy wasn't battle inexperienced nor was he always locked up and he could use The Visionary to it's fullest potential. This is proven in the manga itself. 1.Gremmy does have battle exp. This proven in ch.574 pg.8, where he tells Zaraki"people like you are unable to understand my power until they lose". How would Gremmy know that Zaraki was like those people unless he'd already fought and defeated the people Zaraki was supposed to be like? 2.Gremmy wasn't always locked up. This proven with the first point but Askin also says in ch.575 pg.5, that he didn't want to get caught up in the ridiculous disaster Gremmy was about to cause. Once again, how would Askin know that Gremmy was about to cause a disaster unless he'd seen him do it once before? And Gremmy couldn't cause a disaster while being sealed could he? 3.Gremmy was able to use The Visionary to it's fullest potential. This is proven by the first two points and no narrative showing he couldn't.

Tsukishima literally weaponized the concept of being a self insert character and that’s actually pretty insane.

Agree with most things about the almighty and it’s placement except that it can adapt to every other ability. I think the exception to this rule are abilities that can effect the past as the almighty can only bring the desired future of the user to the present, it can’t effect the past. It’s the same reason why Haschwalth said that uryu has the only ability that can counter the almighty to some extent and it was one of the reasons why yhwach recruited him. I say some because its a Quincy ability so maybe it wouldn’t work just cause of that. The reason why yhwach said that about the almighty imo is because despite how broken ichibes ability was, as it was stated in this video, it has a very clear and exploitable weakness, so all yhwach has to do is bring it to the present and that’s that. Similarly even ichibes last ditch effort had weaknesses too, as long as it has one weakness that can be exploited it cannot be used against him. One final exception to this is Aizen, the reason why the almighty did not work on kyoka suigetsu is because he had already used it on yhwach in the first invasion which literally proves that the almighty can’t effect things that have already happened, if the ability was used before yhwach notices and then he uses the almighty in response and the ability is permanent at all points in time, the almighty can’t adapt to those kinds of abilities. Not to mention the fact that even if Aizen had not gotten him in the first invasion, kyoka suigetsu is the only non-past ability that can do well against the almighty because if he is already hypnotized, all futures he sees he’s being hypnotized which means he has no idea which one is the future where he has the advantage or he wins, which is why he faked his death to beat Aizen.

Surprised my man Shunsui hasn’t even made the honorable mentions - but at least Haschwalth did. Also surprised no mention of Urahara or Kenpachi

enrakyoten still scares me since in the hands of someone like aizen yamamoto or ichigo those with high power and smarts not only would they have access to kyoka suigetsu but any shikai they could ever want at a stronger lvl then the original user though someone with little power would inversely have them at a weaker lvl

im shocked that lille barros ability isnt in honorable mentions. His ability is to literally become light and intangible the only counter is a ritual sword and of course ywach

azashiro and the kenpachi before him and shinji all of their bankais deserve a mention at least

Never ceases to amaze me the misplaced praise for the Miracle. The X-Axis abilities were only rivaled by the Almighty. Both of which needed deus ex machina's to defeat. The Miracle only works AFTER you've been defeated. The same as Z the Zombie's. Totally C tier in practice. In Gerard's fight the captains were literally taking turns killing him. We even got a joking back and forth between Hitsugaya and Byakuya DURING the fight for crying out loud. They had no concern for his power and were only concerned with what would happen after they killed him AGAIN and he accidently were to fall on the Seretai. Would rather have like 10 different schrifts before having the M IMO.

rewatching bleach, i noticed in a certain episode old man Yamamoto state that secrets about the royal palace are transferred orally from Head captain commander to another for generations. does this mean prev heads existed before him? did they also lead squads of other captains? was this retconned? this was in ep. 125.

2:35 Is "most important person" correct? I assumed he made the decisions based on their effectiveness. He chose Byakuya's mentor, for example, to learn about his attacks and weaknesses, and then also inanimate objects, as you mentioned, which don't have attachment to people at all (outside of the Fullbring concept of everything having a soul, which isn't brought up again to my recollection).

P for The Purity (able to purify anything and make them stronger or weaker, basically GER and is said to be able to create Gods), G for The Gap (gap and boundary manipulation, able to manipulate the boundaries between life and death, fantasy and reality, teleportation, etc), D for The Door (able to create doors as a mean of teleportation, vital and mental energy manipulation, empowerment by opening door on someone's back, etc)

2:48 what I find fascinating is even though book of the end was used to insert himself into Byakuya’s past (as a person who saved Byakuya life and was his training partner) Byakuya still considered him an enemy due to being Ichigos enemy and despite admitting he owed him one he didn’t feel regret killing him.

Book of the End lets Tsukishima freely alter the past. It's really the greatest rival to The Almighty, though a full-power Orihime might be able to reject its powers by denying/blocking those potential futures. She seems to need to be aware of what state she's restoring/imposing though, so unless she got her own multi-eye-ball going she would never keep up

A bit random but this literally just can to me why do the Assistant Director or Auxiliary Manager (from jjk) not carrying any Cursed Tools like a Gun or small blade (Similar Slaughter Demon) and Is the only Medical Staff person the Tokyo Jujutsu High has or does she have at least an Assistant/Nurse?

Kyoka Suigetsu is not better then Ichimonji. Definitely not. One is illusions, and you can fight under illusions. Yamamoto just powered through KS. The other is literal reality warping and concept manipulation. And should have authority over every other bankai. You just can't fight under the effects of Ichimonji. Yhwach should've been finished then and there, but PIS exists.
