By the way there are 3 features that I had to activate in the infotainment before they actually worked. 1 is the roll down window feature has to be active in the infotainment. 2 is rear view mirrors go down automatically when u put the car in reverse (so you can see the curb). 3 is on a hot or cold day you can program the AC to run when you start your car from the FOB so you can get the AC or heater going before you get in.
@@nightmaresandlollypo if the keyfob isnt working, go to settings> vehicle> remote lock, unlock, start > remote window operation make sure On is check marked
Just thought I would let you know. That when you leave the emergency brake on it automatically is turned off if you just drive away forgetting to release it. You can give it a try if you don’t give it a lot of gas it will hold you in place. But if youJust leave forgetting to release it a message will come up on the screen saying emergency brake released. Just thought I would mention that it was cool when I had it happen
Hahaha, I've been owning my 2018 Chevy Camaro 1SS 1LE for over 2 years and I just learned from watching this video about lowering your windows with the key fob. N here I thought I knew just about all of the hidden features. Haha, Thanks Mac. Good info, Good channel content. Keep them coming. I Live in Los Angeles, CA. N emissions are so strict out here it's impossible to do any real engine mods. N also don't want to void my warranty since I only have 17,000 miles on it. But eventually I plan to do so in the future.
Question. A decent walkthrough of the traction control systems would be great. Took me a while to figure out how to do a burn out much less how to heat the tires using the line lock feature. There's quite a lot hidden in that little traction control button. Driving a 2017 ZL1 6spd.
Hidden things I didn't see at first and had to dig to find them. Performance Timer (0-60/0-100/1/4 mile) and lap timer. you need to activate it, before you can see it (in the Performance info pages). Depending on the car, I've also seen the launch control settings (I don't see it on mine, but i've seen videos with 2016s that have them).
Yesterday I had to buy a shovel so I had my backseat down and I could hear the pops and the exhaust way better with the seat down. Not exactly a feature but something I would have never thought to do. My windows were up and im on stock exhaust. 2018 ZL1
*2019 Camero SS 1LE-Biggest feature I learned about is "Competitive Mode" press traction control/StabiliTrak off button twice quickly while in sport or track mode.
I have a fifty as well. That car gets sooo much love. These kids were pointing as me and wife were leaving from dinner. I had to punch it she gets mad because her head just flops back. 🤣🤣🤣
Great video! I always learn something new on YT. Are there any recommendations about installation of Smart active wing? Thinking about ordering one from Victor racing site, I have heard great things about it.
I assume since you have paddles that you can shift the manual transmission with them. If so, why wouldn't you just do the "no-lift" shift with the paddles?
Help! I swiped the audio screen over to the dash. But I keep swiping to the right to get it back over to the radio screen and it’s not working. How do I get the music selection from my dash back over to the radio screen/ console ?
@@macpettit2327 Absolutely! I ran into a thing in race mode when I was launching i didnt set up launch control for the surface i was on so when i reved in the 2-3 grand range and tried to dump the clutch it halfway kicked in and almost stalled. The announcer thought I had TC on. So I guess I need to set that up too.
So you can see what door is open thats funny there's only 2 even if your hood or trunk is open even without that you could probably figure out pretty quickly which one is open
Awesome tip I did not know that and I’ve had my SS manual for two years, but Silly question do you still need to use your clutch, or do you just shift? Thanks Fred
