Chanel n5 l'eau makes me so happy, I've been spraying it all day. Delightful, like opening a champagne bottle on a sunny day-picnic at the park kind of vibe 💞
I am so surprised to find that I too have been loving Bois Des Iles. I bought it some months back and figured it would be kept for late fall and winter. One day recently I sprayed it to experience it before bed and realized I can wear this in hot humid heat and it somehow works! I’m wearing it to go to work today! I need what this brings to face my heavy day! Love and joyful energy sent to you Dacob!
Oh Dacob, I adore the Gardenia oil and extrait! We had gardenia bushes growing up, and my parents took pictures of me as a toddler with my nose in the gardenia blooms. We had night blooming jasmine too....love, love, love. I adore your channel and content. xo
What a list. Nothing like the drydown of Cristalle in summer. I finally found the new bottle of the EDT recently and yes, it was gone from my skin in minutes. I'm cherishing my old bottle now, sadly. I totally get Bois des Iles being a completely different experience in summer than winter.
Great list, Dacob! I would really appreciate a video on what your favorite Chanel parfums are so we can check them out now before Chanel completely discontinues or makes it harder to locate most of them.
WOOHOOO!!!! hehe...loving this list...but i always love them! haha. Thank you, Dacob!! Such fun. That backdrop is where i'd want to be...if it weren't 100 degrees on that beach. haha. To me, it's about 84 and breezy. My gardenias have been blooming a ton this summer. Can smell the from my screened porch. Heavenly.
I love the background but my July wasnt this beautiful, in fact it was a dirty storm of hurricane winds and hot dog days of sufferage! haha...I do love your choices though and now that the power is finally back on I can enjoy my fragrances again.
Hi Dacob, hope you're ok. What a great selection 😍 My current favourites for July are: Paris Paris, Beige, 19 poudré, Allure, and Gabrielle L'eau which I completely fell in love with 🥰🥰🥰🩷🩷🩷 My very next treat is gonna be Cristalle in EDP concentration... because of you, I must admit 😅😊 Have a great week, love 💘💘💘
@@ada-sg4xo Hi I usually wear the EDT version of allure, L'eau de Gabrielle is surprisingly performing pretty good for a lighter side of the original. I would compare it to a regular EDT in the Chanel classics range.😘
@@warningshoes8986 I adore Allure edt it was my signature for years...i have Gabrielle edp amd Gabrielle Essence. Is the Leau lighter than those two? Because Gabrielle is very weak performer in my expirience😔
By the way … while I listen to the second half of this video and watching, I‘m writing with a friend and asking her, if she smelled/tried the Gabrielle extrait already. And … tadaaah! It´s the 5th one in your list. Funny! 🤍💛 It is sooo beautiful.
Hello Dear Dacob, I've had a chance to test the L'eau version out and I have to say it is light and beautiful. I am not the biggest fan of out -right , straightup florals (unless they have sandalwood, musky or oakmossy base) but this l'eau version surprised me positively. What I like about that formulation the most is that it is dry to my nose and not sweet as I had thought it could have been. Really interesting. Warm regards Xoxoxo🥰🥰
Hi Dacob! Do you know the story of 'La Dame aux Camellias' by Alexandre Dumas? It is the basis for the film Camille and the opera La Traviata. I often wonder if Coco was fond of this book. The camellias are a significant symbol to the main character. ❤ 😮
Yes of course I know La Dame aux Camellias. Particularly love Maria Callas in La Traviata, in the direction and setting by Luchino Visconti. As for Coco, she was not usually portrayed as a fan of sick suffering female characters who perish weak and partially out of love. She fought that concept most of her life.
@@essence-tiallydacob9611thank you! Looking forward to your thoughts. Back in the late 90’s Chanel made fragrance mists for 5,19,22 and I think Cristalle . I loved them so much!
Always enjoy your list Dacob and your stories. If you had to choose a fully paid for life chanel perfume, which one would you choose? Would it be Chanel no5 extrait parfum ? I would 🥹❤
Thank you Shirley 🥰💫 Choosing one fully paid for life fragrance from Chanel does not exclude me buying the others as well haha so in that case I would choose No5 parfum cuz its the most expensive after all and I would then buy the other perfumes myself haha.
Hello Dacob, I love n 5l'eau. Thank you for your in depth reviews. I live in the Southern hemisphere and planning a trip to Crete summer 2025. Already planning which fragrances to travel with. L'eau will definitely be coming with me. I will decant a few other fragrances. Do you have any advice to travellers about decanting and air travel with perfume? It is 24 hours flying to reach my destination. I have had a couple of disasters on long flights travelling with fragrance. Thank you for your beautiful reviews.
I think if I had my blood drawn that they'd find traces of No. 5 L'eau; I spray it like it's air to breathe. I wish they'd release a body cream of it in a tube. I'd be hysterical. Agree, they really should have made the pebble refillable. They could have charged more and people would have paid knowing it was reusable.
Thank you for the July list ! look forward to the monthly parfum recommendations for when I am in the season for the recommendations.I used to shy away from No5 as I was also of the opinion that I was not mature enough to wear it. Fast forward to a sample of Gabrielle in my bag from the beauty boutique, the backpedaling to No5 was at such a speed it was hilarious. the dry down on Gabrielle parfum was less intimidating, but still not enough for me to want to purchase, as the initial spritz was so intense my eyes started to water, the headache kicked in and then the nausea. It is pleasant on the dry down but too bold to handle when first applied🧴♥
