I keep hearing factory smokes. I have to put them on my list. The Perdomo 10th anniversary champagne for me cannot be overhyped. It is great every time
I've had mixed results on those , the plain ones tasted bland to me. But I've tried the sweet and was impressed with the flavor , I was at a family reunion a couple weeks ago and my cousin turned me on to the Factory Smoke's Sweet and was impressed , so I bought a couple the other day. They're definitely good for a daily smoke , especially for under $3 a stick!
@@mikeg6666 tried the sweet for the first time today. They are about 4.50 around me, and for that price their flavor and strength is something else. Definitely going back for more.
@@ifacecheck Nice , yeah they're not bad for a daily smoke. I think I paid around $3 a stick but online you can get them for about a dollar a piece if you buy a bundle!
@@jpatton5567 Have you tried Backwoods , they're small but good and cheap. Or Drew Estate Sweet Jane's , 5 x 46 under $7 a stick. They also make fantastic cigarillos that come in tins of 10 for $16.50....👍
I don’t smoke cigars, don’t know why this was in my feed other than a couple buddies from high school came to visit and they smoked cigars so I took them to the corner cigar shop here in Philly. Anyway, watched the whole video, my man is on it with the commentary. I might pick up smoking cigars just to hang out in the smoking lounge if these are the types of guys that are smoking them!
For me it has to be the Stillwell Star by Dunbarton for a few reasons. 1. Each cigar's flavor is very unique so if you don't like one then there's 3 others. 2. It's hard to hype because the taste is so different that you'll either love it or hate it. 3. Dunbarton generally lives up to the hype anyway.
I'm especially a fan of the Factory Smokes and Perdomo 10th Anniversary cigars. The Factory Smokes are great daily smokes and the Perdomo are reliably good. I keep them in my humidor at all times!
I just came to watch a relaxing video & learn a couple stuff and I just kept getting roasted for no reason 😂 New to cigars here, great video as always, keep it up.
Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva, natural Spanish Lonsdale to be exact. After years of smoking cigars, I still wasn't really experiencing flavor notes (even in Lanceros). Some months back I lit this stick for the first time & my mind was truly blown. The absolute onslaught of flavor I experienced had me pinching myself to see if I was dreaming. Who would have thought, a $7-$9 stick would turn out to be one of the most satisfying & memorable cigars I've ever smoked. They've been a mainstay in my humidor ever since & each one that I light up is just as good as the first. For anybody out there still struggling to get those flavor notes, keep trying every stick you can get your hands on. Affordable or expensive. Now copy & paste this comment in a text to your wife to justify your next trip to the smoke shop. CHEERS!
My wife and I smoke Factory Smokes all the time. We can enjoying a smoke on a budget and love it! They don’t always burn the best sometimes, but overall we love them!
Man you are slick... it takes a ton of preparation, knowledge and personality so pull off a one take review. Loved the little quips in this one. Keep up the great work!
Every couple of months I get a bundle of Factory Smokes Maduro just for a front porch smoke during the week when I don't want to smoke my Superfly Maduros. They also come in handy when you get a friend wanting a cigar but don't want to give them your "good" ones, lol.
I liked the Sin Compromiso, but not as much as the Sobremesa. The Sobremesa is a beautiful, cinnamon-y cigar. As for the Perdomo, that used to be my daily go-to for quite a while. Love it!
One of my favorites is the Greycliff 1666; about $4 per stick when on sale. It's a medium to full cigar with great flavor, even burn, and excellent construction. Highly recommended. Tim, thanks for this video as it gets us to think a little about our favorites.
Another great sub $5 bundled long-filler stick is the Micallef "A". It's a chocolte bomb! Also, I love the Factory Smokes Shade. Very creamy & always a great cedar-bakers spice profile.
Liga Privada T52. It’s not overly bold nor flavorless. It’s not cheap but it’s not crazy expensive; and they always have consistent flavor. They also seem to burn pretty consistent as well. In my mind best bang for the buck. I will be trying this list though. I’ve seemed to like almost all your suggestions.
Everything from CAO should be in this video imo especially the main line ones like the Brazilia, Italia and America. Can't go wrong with those and they are under budgeted and under hyped for how good they are.
Factory Smokes are definitely a decent buddy box cigar. You can’t go wrong with the 10th Anniversary. The Compromiso is sinfully good. And, that 1926 is delicious!!!
I smoke the Sin Compromiso while driving through my electric Hummer through my digital acreage, pumping jams out my gnarly subwoofers, which I bought with crypto using my liberal arts degree. No hype 😛
A J Fernandez Bellas Artes Habno and Maduro are some of my all time favorites. Souther Draw with Jacobs ladder and their Rose of Sharon are up there too.
Awesome list - both for the cigars and for the life regrets. 😂That Perdomo champagne is an amazing cigar every time I light one up. I would put the Fuente Don Carlos on that list. Always a fantastic cigar and well made every time.
Definitely, the Don Carlos No 4 is a go to for me absolutely amazingly smooth cigar. Replaced the Hemingway Natural Best Seller for me, but I still love that stick as well. My number one is the Padron 1926 40th Anniversary just a stunning cigar all round.
I have so many favorites that I feel can’t be over hyped. I know you are too humble to put one of your own cigars on the list, but the box pressed rebellion is awesome! It should be on this list. Signed, Not a simp.
The amazon basin line is still my favorite. never had one i didn’t love. It used to not be talked about but i have started seeing people say it’s overhyped.
The Maduro Factory Smoke is actually a really great cigar. the fact that its around $2 makes it a amazing cigar! It tastes like it should cost around $12.
In Australia we pay just over $1000 for a 25 stick bundle of Factory smokes thanks to federal tobacco taxes of around $1610 per kilogram of tobacco product. 😭
Sin compromiso no 5 in also my favourite. Well deserved to be in the list although i didn't expect it. In my opinion, they really represent what a cigar should be about, perfect burn and draw, insanely complex flavour, amazing wrapper and acceptable price (around 15€ in Europe)
Awesome list! I haven't had the Sin Compromiso yet, but every DTT blend I have tried I loved. Steve Saka is the man when it comes to primo cigars! And i couldn't agree more with you on the Factory Smokes... cheap as hell but super good flavor... Drew Estate can do no wrong in my book lol.
I discovered factory throw outs by mistake, a little inconsistent on the construction but they never let me down I think I have had one or two that were tough to draw. #49 and #49 sweets are delicious I have yet to try the others. Drew Estates I’ve only had the ACID line… I’m sorry but I do actually enjoy and like the ACID cigars I regularly get the blue Connecticut cigarillos and enjoy them with coffee. They taste fantastic as a follow up to a Dutch master Palma ironically (I bought a 55 count box of those just as burners and admit while I don’t count them as real cigars do hold me over until I can get to a tobacconist) with a good cup of coffee but I don’t recommend storing them in a humidor unwrapped near the fancier sticks. H. Upmann 1844 Reserve is another great buy in the pack of six aperitifs that are absolutely delicious. My box has some Nat Shermans waiting for me, I have ONE left from pre-covid and I’m still peeved they closed down but so happy the guys that rolled them re-opened shop under a new name. Avoid Garcia Y Vega… they taste like olives and burning carpet. Go Dutch Master before you burn one of those terrible sticks! I buy the whiffs just to “have a cigarette” without having a cigarette hint hint… but that’s it. Dutch masters at least have Connecticut shade wrappers so they have some pleasantry to them. But they don’t belong on a list of premiums. Factory throwouts or bust!
Love your videos and want to and will place some orders from you. Can I offer some unsolicited advice (always the best ha sarcasm). The site could use some ux/ui work to make it a bit more user friendly - like quick links to top brands, cigar strength, etc etc. and maybe one link to a said cigar with all sizes within that page as opposed to multiple pages for different sizes, if that makes sense. Keep up the great vids!
The Factor Smokes from Drew Estate just came out with a Candela and it’s found its way into my everyday smokes. That along with Mark Twain Cigars and the Original Cuban from Cigar International are my go to for an everyday smoke. As Mark Twain once said: “No one can tell me what a good cigar is…for me”
When can I get my hands on a Kristoff Maduro (torpedo) from Cigars Daily? It's one of my favorite cigars/first cigars. I'd love to be able to order them from your website. ... a review would be cool, too.
One that definitely lived up to the hype was the blackened by drew estate x James hetfield ….probably my favorite but I think they were just a limited run
Right again Tim on all points , I've had all of those cigars factory smokes are nice when you smoke 3 - 4 I bought 25 bundle sungrown + 10 Maduro . I heard rumors that our QB Rogers smoked Perdomo 10 yr. So I tried one mild and smooth from my local shop. Highly recommend the samplers from your shop , also purchased the Padron Family Reserve from you, wonderful ! Just received 3 more samples just now ! Get back later 🤓
Dude i tried the factory smokes(new to cigars) I grabbed it because it no cigar shops were open so I got it from a smoke shop, I actually really enjoyed that cigar
I want to try the DE Factory Smokes, but my local smoke & vape shop actually charges $5.99-$6.99 for them depending on size! The owner man is outside of his ever loving mind if he thinks I would pay that for one! That kind of price defeats the whole purpose they were designed for. He's extremely over priced on all of the cigars in his little 2 foot wide cabinet humidor that he finally installed after a year and a half of bragging that he was going to put in a walk in humidor! I mean he seriously charges $3.99 for single Cuban Rounds and Cuban Rejects. It was such a huge disappointment after waiting for him to finally get premium cigars in and then that's the situation we ended up getting!!
@@mikeee_e4606 It's really more of a tobacco shop than a vape shop. Also considering how close it is to me and that we don't have many other cigar options in my area, yeah I was hoping that he would put a little effort into cigars, but it just turned out to be a hugely overpriced disappointment! Ohhh, also the fricken DE Factory Smokes have gone up to $7.99 regardless of size!! The man is absolutely insane!!
Im finding a love for ugly coyote, the flavor, the smell, the price, even the brsnfing on them i adore. Once i get a bigger humidor (looking at one of those 3000 count cabinets) im planning on getting some of each flavor. Adore these things
What do you think of AJ Hernandez cigars? Are they over or under hyped? They seem like they are really well marketed which makes me wonder if they are really that good or just marketed well. I mean they won’t be as good as a pardon but are they worth picking some up?
I feel whenever I have some Plasencias I go to heaven. 151, Alma Fuerte, etc. Bolivar Gran Republica is definitely a good one for those dark fruit tones. Figs. Yum.
@@kwyatt75 for me they are celebration cigars. I smoke aroudn 2 cigars a day so obviously I cannot afford to smoke them regularly however they are really good. You shouls try a smaller size davidoff to see if you would like it(you will probably though) . With that said a 25 usd cigar is really hard to be worth the price in my opinion
Honestly I enjoy the Bella Cuba shade grown there like $2. Smooth lil nutty n grassy or hay taste good aroma. Can't go wrong for less than $50 a bindle
A: I feel attacked after this video 😂 B: I’ve never had a factory smoke that was too tight to draw it even needed fixing. Construction is most important with draw being top on that list. Very consistent.
I honestly don't think that the aladino line as a whole gets enough love. I haven't had a bad stick yet and I've smoked probably 75 percent of their lineup and most of them are more than fair priced
Alphonso Extra Anejo is the best cigar I have ever smoked. It is a crazy price, but it is amazing. 100% about the Perdomo, I was smoking one while watching.
