Okay, I'm not even kidding. 4 days ago I was browsing Ziprecruiter while on break at my workplace in Nashville TN. Just looking at jobs and day dreaming 'what if'. And then, purely on accident, I clicked 'send my resume' to a job posting in SLC. The next thing I know I'm in the middle of a phone interview and everything is going great and thats when they ask me to fly out to SLC to meet in person and tour the facility this coming Tuesday. I dont even know what I'm going to tell my current employer, or how he will respond. All I know for certain is I'll be in Utah Monday night.
Lol similar situation myself I’m in Ontario 🇨🇦, was talking to my wife about Utah and Montana and got an email yesterday about a job, today had a zoom interview and they thought we’d be a perfect fit for their company and would sponsor us to come and work at their company lol
@@DimagoDiesel I've been in SLC for 2 months now and I'm loving it. The people are really great, the Uinta mountains are fantastic and now that the weather has cooled Im heading southward to the canyonlands this weekend. I cant say that I will stay here forever (I will go home one day) but for now I feel like I am discovering a whole other world.
@@newdefsys that’s really good to hear! I lived my entire 29years of life in Ontario and feel so sheltered from life and what’s outside this province and country. I hate hearing my family and friends being negative towards moving to the USA but my wife and I are on the same page and to me that’s all that matters. We need to do what’s right for us!

how bad is the drought issue in Utah? Is this something that goes on every year and the news blowing it up or is this a long-term major issue? (thank you for this video)
It seems like they are talking about a drought every single year, but it is a bit worse this year, due to low snowfall this past winter. I think we are in a longer term drought cycle and can't seem to catch up, but it is exacerbated recently due to increased population and reduced snowpack.
Daybreak is nice. Cute houses. Safe. Has that "Pleasantville" vibe.. almost looks like a movie set in some areas. Not much yard area, several homes share outdoor space.
