Spirit Yachts is now recognized as one of the world's leading designers and builders of modern classic yachts. It currently manufactures a line of custom-designed wooden sailing and power yachts varying in size from daysailers to superyachts. Based in Suffolk on the UK's east coast, Sean McMillan and Mick Newman created Spirit Yachts in 1993 with the intention to provide yacht owners with a stunning, environmentally friendly alternative to production boats made of fiberglass.
