The best programming language to get a job is knowing the basics and advanced programming concepts. It doesn't matter which programming language you choose. If you know one Language deeply and programming concepts you can learn any language in just a few days or maybe in just a few hours.

No interview ask you to code in specific language. Data structure, algorithm and system design more important than learning a new language for job purpose.

You're selling a false premise, software jobs aren't linked directly to programming languages in the slightest. Most companies don't really care what languages you know as long as you have relevant experience for the type of work you'll be doing. Language experience is a plus, but very rarely required. Everyone, you should focus way more on the quality of your engineering work rather than trying to game the system by picking the "optimal" programming language for the market. Totally disagree!! Higher percentages means the largest community and at the same time largest community mean the language can grow big in future. So rather than selecting Ruby, Perl we have to select JS, Python or Java which have the largest community and can grow big. If you are a developer the community is the first priority.. It's not like it really matters that the languages you know are in demand. If you can proof that you know a variety of languages (so they know thay you will be able to learn new ones quickly), and have an advanced understanding of programming concepts (algorithms, data structures, etc.) as well as the specifics of your field you can apply to a job for a lnguage you don't know yet and learn it in the onboarding process. Individual languages are by far the easiest part of programming. So companies would rather hire someone new to the language that fulfills all the other requirements, than someone who is proficient in let's say JS but only went through a bootcamp and has no prior experience or impressive portfolio.

If you are gonna learn Javascript, learn css and html throughly too, it's easier to get a job , unless of couse you suck at interview
