I found my spawn #1 for $15 in high grade (was at a half off sale at my LCS). You can def find em for cheap in good condition

My dad just gave me his spawn #1 from his short lived speculator buying phase during the 90s lol. Along with wildstar #1 and other issues of spawn, x men, the maxx and various others

Get these books but always go for the newsstand version. And if you can get the Canadian price variant newsstand version of any of the books even better. You want to go for rarity with these modern books.

I know damn well that you know X-Factor #24 is NOT THE 1st APPEARANCE OF ARCHANGEL. He appeared in multiple panels and fought the Horsemen of Apocalypse in #23.

Good luck finding raw copies of those because everyone is getting everything cgcd. I dont like cgc graded books as i feel it artificially inflates the value of a lot of books.

It's hard to find raw copies of those books because of all the cgc zombies. Even raw copies of those books aren't that cheap. That might be what they are worth but I doubt you are going to find anyone selling them for that especially Spawn #1

If you’re new to comic collecting and you want some REAL helpful advice… buy what you like to read that means asking people at you LCS about what your interested in and they can give you some helpful advice …that’s how you’ll develop a love of comics , get to love the hobby before you start with the snake oil salesmen.
