Hopefully this helps. I’m in ELITE in FUT and have won the D1 title in online seasons with regular teams. Put your right/ left back on stand back while attacking, conservative int’s and overlap run type. It makes the most of fullbacks naturally drifting up. Will require pace on those guys but there’s plenty of teams/ players for that Put your controller setting on low for the one that determines how far you keep moving in the direction that the AI was when you switch

That’s the opponent cheating. If I ever see someone pause the game after they score a goal. I know they are cheating and about to hack the game and it’s exactly how I thought it would be. I try no matter how hard, when I attack, the game lags when I’m through and about to score so I missed it or gets saved. When I defend them, it lags and then all I see is them scoring and doing the fucken cunt celebration with the high pace players. If it lags for me it should have been a missed for them but they score so you know they use lag switch hack. It happens on your end and not their end. It is the cuntish way to play and I do not want to play with a cunt that does that as way to cheat. Why cheat on a sport game? Pathetic! That’s why I turned off seeing opponents celebrations and leave to report these mfs on my platform. That’s not all, I called EA and report them in person. I save every single clip I make if I’m sus son a opponent that’s cheating. That’s how we make the game safe from cheaters. You all should do it too. We are here for fun not competitive. That’s why I stick with friendlies and squad battles. Stay the fuck away from FUT champs and division rivals, it’s rigged. You face problem from all over division and people with better expensive players than you. It shouldn’t be like that. The old fifas had points. How many games you play and how many points to promote. It should be like that. This new system is rigged and full of cheaters. Stay away from it.

It's a fair question. This was FIFA 21, I suppose. You have to acknowledge that for each year, the implementation of jockey, fast jockey and sprinting might be different and if I remember correctly, fast jockey was even better back then. Thus, there was not much reason to use only jockey, when fast jockey is just better. I still use fast jockey quite a lot, also in situations at which you could make a case that jockey should be more suitable. - TaZz

@@THEGUIDE_bPG The moment I changed from fast jockey to jockey alone, I tremendously improved my defending. That's since late FIFA22. It's even better in FIFA23.

It’s hard to focus on having fun in a game where people try and find the most exploits or the most meta shit in the game when you’re just casually trying to enjoy a game mode the problem is EA rewards the people who play so cheesy and spend money I don’t buy packs but I play rivals and fut champs and watch these videos because I’m tired of feeling like I’m doing something right but people take advantage of certain game mechanics to get an edge

@@jxhnjxhng4406 With you on this 1. It's almost impossible to have fun in a game where people can just find a cheap way to beat you. For example using a certain formation or tactics shouldn't make a player better, but they do. And who's bothered constantly looking up new formations and tactics just to keep up with the meta when all I want is to have fun not sweat for 3 hours to win 2 or 3 games

@@Lucky-sh1dm yeah I don’t get it. I used some custom tactics and player instructions that I saw online and now I’m 6 wins, 3 draws and 0 losses in my last 9 so maybe that’s it. I feel like you can’t just pick up and play this game you have to use custom tactics otherwise your AI players will just stand around. It’s so weird. I just want to pick up and play. One thing I noticed is that standing tackles don’t have the range they once did. Players also don’t have to play smart or use close control dribbling. It’s just run down the wing with a fast player and either shoot or cut back and wiggle around until an easy, auto pass opens up. Everything is so automated on offense but AI players don’t cut out long, blind passes. It’s so weird. I can tell when someone is good with the controller because of their timing when doing skill moves or simple ball rolls, defensive tackles, things like that. This game I’ve been up against players who aren’t good with their thumbs but still somehow accidentally get through. Or they can just do lobbed passes (not through balls but lobbed passes) and then take a first time shot off the lobbed pass and blast it while your defender is dummied out because the lob pass makes them unable to make a block or even interception. It’s like everything just freezes for the offensive player to get a first time shot. I don’t get it.

@@HT-sm9dm lmfao brotha I already deleted the game, i got it for Xmas free so Idgaf. I switched tactics followed a couple guides but the gameplay is so utterly shocking it’s not even fun to play. It’s legitimately disgusting to play.
