Foden 133 games, 35 goals, assists 21 One played for Leicester... the other plays for the best english team in the last decade Maddison unlocks teams, he is an offensive machine. Foden is an incredible talent, but cmon man.

He does regularly start though, plus pep has always rotated. I think his appearances wouldn't be that far off most of the other top quality players

Foden is not that good he cant make City's team ever and can play anywhere across the frontline. Mahrez, Bernardo, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Haaland and Grealish were all ahead of him and now even Alvarez is ahead of him. He is a impact player and a squad player and until he makes the ir best 11 or moves to a team where he does he is a waste of potential.

That’s completely fair, but it doesn’t mean Saka is better. Foden should be a midfielder for England but Southgate won’t play him there because he hasn’t done it for City. And he hasn’t done it for City because of KDB, Bernardo, and Gundogan. Same reason he hasn’t had the club on his back like Turkish wants. The LFC goals at the Emirates (beginning of season) that was offside but VAR “didn’t have a camera to check the angle” but a goal is a goal, so that fair. Then made the penalty (fair enough). So good there. But at the end of the season when it mattered most what happened? He disappeared at LFC and skied the pen which likely would’ve had Arsenal win the game. Also, my main point was that he is a ghost in the business end of the season. World class players rise to the occasion, he disappears. As for the big games, world class players are consistent scorers in a lot of big games, not just a few peppered over the season but not including the last 10 games or so. The goals he got against MU were early in season and then again in Jan when everyone was saying Arsenal had won the league and there was no pressure. I’m the pressure games (last 10 of season) and a number of big games, he’s not there. He could change it this season with the CL and I hope he does. Until then, he’s not world class yet
