Gone are those days when duronto had the red beast wap-4 as it's regular link. And also when duronto had uniform rakes, now it's a mixture of rajdhani, humsafar and railways name it duronto. WAP-4 is my all time favourite locomotive
WAP4 at that time were running mps of 110 KM but now WAP4 average run in 110 to 130 Km speed even with express trains. Old Alco twins run 120 Km while WDP4 run 160 Km like WAP5. This is real revolution of Indian railways. At the same time number of trains run on same route also increased by 50 % since 2009 and that is the reason of Durranto running like slow marathon runner instead of 100m sprinter. thanks sir

Amazing video.. Absolutely scintillating stuff!! Sdah Duronto can still get back to its numero uno and stupendous run if it runs to Ndls.. It's average speed is lessened by its extension to Bikaner!! I understand that occupancy is very low beyond Ndls and hence it may get truncated to Ndls again in the future!! Livery is very important in railways for all trains and locos so Duronto livery should be maintained as mandatory!! WR did well with only one coach different in the Mumbai Delhi Duranto!! Some Duranto's are very slow and needs attention!! What's the average speed of Sdah Puri Duranto and Hwh Ypr Duranto?? Ernakulam Duranto and Chennai Duranto speed?? Super compilation and good work!!
Yes sdah duronto was the boss of this entire duronto category.. It was the most prestigious duronto... I am it's big fan.. But it's extension has destroyed it totally.. Even for the same reason of of following a different route hwh duronto also got ruined.. Both these durontos have fallen prey to petty politics and lost their charisma ....
Bhaiya Sealdah Duronto ke hi sath aisa kyu hua 😭😢 Isse Bikaner tak extended karke bohot jyada kharab kar diye hai Aur Isski speed 145max speed or 90km avg. Speed se directly 130 or 78 avg. Ho gaya hai or ye regularly late hi chalti hi hai 😔
After re routing it through patna 12273 hwh duronto's speed reduced to 69 kmph and after extension of 12259 duronto till bikaner it's avg speed also got reduced to 77 kmph... Once it had 90 kmph avg speed and was the fastest train of IR
@@leonardocaprio1789 that is actually wrong... Before extension 12259's avg till delhi was 81 kmph... But after extension it's obvious that avg speed will get reduced... Indian rail info did not update the overall avg speed
The most disgusting thing about IR is their stupid arrangement of boggies you will not find a single train in india with uniform boggies they will mixed up one way or the other it's a 3rd country what do you expect.
