"Don't stop shredding," he said. I'm dying to start! You don't know how inspiring this video is. My feelings are hurt, I thought I was something, now I feel so small. I'll be back 🎵 😃
Tina S. is one of my favorites of all time; She feels the music, is ultra skilled, passionate, or doesn't even look on the fretboard when playing stuff like the through the fire and the flames solo (sadly you didn't show it in the bit).. Very carismatic, too.
They're all fantastic musicians, I personally love Nili and Alexandra's work, their original compositions and song writing is very skillful much like their playing, I only recently discovered Alyssa who is indeed a talented guitarist and have yet to check out Sarah's work, as for Tina, Tina is a phenomenal guitarist who's video's have been around for as long as I can remember, Tina is the first female guitarists on YT I had subscribed to almost 10 years ago, I would've loved to have heard her play some original material before she left her channel. Outstanding playing ladies! Great video!
Actual talent! What a relief! The VAST majority of the girls playing guitar on Tik Tok and RU-vid spend way more time fishing for compliments than they do actually practicing and playing. Most of their playing is somewhere between “Meh” and aural garbage, but they make sure they show plenty of skin and get what I can only assume they believe to be flattering camera angles. They all think they are Nita Strauss. And they are all wrong. Sarah (#5 here) is a top-tier talent and doesn’t get anywhere near the amount of exposure that she deserves.
Recently experienced, Holly Henderson of Rowsies......more imaginative, "not a mindless speed-merchant", psych-rock......more imaginative use of the whammy bar.......her main guitar is a Gibson symetrical double-cutaway, non-SG......it's very beautiful, & she knows what to do with it.......& Andreia Gomez......her idea is to join raves......comes on as one of the DJs......& the sound they all dance to when she spins.......Andreia blasts guitar solos over.......that's her new project, she was with a jazz-rock band before that. Guitar player 2 Tina S, had the best SOUNDING guitar, the Vigier, in my opinion.......wish more people would play Vigiers......& a good player of course.
Great playing. Awesome skills. I can appreciate it but can't say i "felt" much of any of it. Be curious to see how they translate to playing in a band. Japanese shredders falling all over each other there are so many of them & they all play in bands. Not to mention bands with twin shredders (nemophila, lovebites, aldious, etc.)
Where is Tina ? Where is Tina ? Where is Tina ? Where is Tina ? You're pissing us off with your question ! Call her or write to her, bunch of lazy people !! Her phone number and address are in the phone book, and her 2 emails are on her page !
There are many in the classical field but no one seems to care. Liona Boyd is a Canadian classical guitarist that has been playing highly technical classical guitar for 50 years! It aint new woke folks
Yeah, saw her play in Cupertino, CA back in the late 90s at the Flint Center, a small venue. Took my mom as she likes classical guitar. Very gracious lady who spoke with us, though as I remember, we didn't have her newest album at the time to sign. A real treat! Nothing against the talented shredders, but it can be a bit monotonous hearing it at times. Like Zakk Wylde once said, "Music is like a buffet..."
Perhaps, they're the top western shredders, but for the world, let's go to japan with: 1 Miyako (lovebites) 2 Saki (nemophila, ex mary's blood, ex destrose) 3 Midori (Lovebites) 4 Sakura Yoshida (Hagane) 5 Yuki (D-Drive) and many others
Sophie Lloyd and Orianthi should've been in that list or had an honourable mention. Considering Orianthi played with M.J and shredded the shit out of it 🤔
Interesting list! We can all agree, you don't have to be a guy to dig Jason Becker LOL! Consider adding Jennifer Batten :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gMNMlM1oLOI.html
Playing fast is clever but there is little soul or feel. Copying or playing like Eddie Van Halen you will never sound like him as he put so much swing and raw talent into his playing no one will ever come close to sounding the same. Playing fast though impressive doesn't compare to the classic riffs of the 1980's rock guitarists.
Love the vids but shame on you for not having Nita Strauss at #1 or even on the list at all. Probably one of the most famous and easily the most successful female shredder out of these ladies, and possibly of all time. I honestly can't think of a female shredder who has had more pro success then Nita... Orianthi comes close in the success category, but you failed to mention her either...
Agreed. Nita is one of the best guitarists in the game right now, period. Of course a list of 5 will always be incomplete, but I just don't see how Nita can be absent.
Elena verrier is way better than most this list if we're talking electric guitar. All nili plays is boomer bs from the 80s and not even the good stuff from the 80s like yngwie or Sean lane or Paul Gilbert. Just mainstream bs
