I would add Aussie Ant in the mix. For a one man team, he produces a lot of quality Sims that don't bust the bank. The Winjeel is a treasure, in that you have to fly it!
Aus Flight Simmer thank you sir, much appreciated, yours has always been an inspirational go to of mine whenever I have been looking at getting new addons or wanting to learn about what is happening.
100% deserved by A2A, although the particular placement of those planes tells me more about their relative sales numbers than their quality, since each new A2A release is better than the previous one. That said, I was surprised that Milviz B350 got enough votes to make it into the video, rather than Flight1 B200. Excluding A2A products, that's the best GA aircraft I flew in FSX.
Just picked up the skylane from a2a and mounted a reality xp gtn 750. very nice combo. This was for Prepar3d version 5. No problems so far, except the 750 doesnt seem to want to fly a dme arc. Still have to play with it.
I would've put the vertx DA62 in the top5 just to spice it up abit as well, A2A are all very good but having variety is also IMO, understandable theres were top5 from the community though and A2A deserve it hands on, a few other great GA planes are from justflight, their 150 and piper are amazing!!!
A2A is hands down the best dev out there! I honestly dont think the milviz deserves a honorable mention, they released a broken king air. DA62 sure, but it is still lacking alot and the dev has gone completely silent for like a year now.
The KA350i is an extremely complex aircraft. The Proline 21 and FMS3000's few remaining features are being implemented in a forthcoming Hotfix. It is far from being "a broken king air"...
While I fully agree A2A fully deserve the result, keep in mind what they don't do: Integrating own advanced avionics. The King Air features a full rendition of the PL21 suite, while the A2A aircraft usually come with fully simulated, yet simple radios. If they had to build a fully updatable, working Avidyne avionics suite from the scratch, then the comparison would be fair. The KingAir has to be compared to other biz planes.. and which one comes with comparable avionics? I can't think of any. There are shortcomings for sure, but they will be rectified. The dedication in completing such a difficult task, in my eyes, fully deserves the honorable mention.
I just brought the DA62 yesterday for my prepar3d and I had a lot of issues with the airplane, I saw a lot of videos of the airplane and that was the reason why I brought it but when I started to used it I noticed that there were a lot of issues with the airplane and I also noticed that the config app wasn’t working, the avionics were lagging a lot and the version of the plane that they sold my was the 1.053 and when I turn on the avionics the version was the 1.000, I don’t know why wasn’t working, I would love to used it and enjoyed. Have you guys had any issues like that before ?

After flying the A2A Comanche in MSFS2020 nothing compares. The comanche behaves like a real airplane. I started my license last year and I immediatly spotted the difference between A2A and the standard msfs plane / physics. Not that MSFS2020 is unrealistic, it just lacks nuances that I see and feel in real life. A2As product has that! I am honestly thinking about switching to P3D. Can anyone with realworld experience tell me if the flying in P3D feels like "the real thing"? Thanks guys and congrats to A2A! Well deserved!
Meh, A2A wastes way too much development time (which drives up purchase prices) on all their emphasis on simulating component failures. The "failures" can be turned off, but I don't like paying for features I won't use. Do things break in real world flying? Sure they do, and when it happens, it can ruin your day (and your wallet). But why simulate the unpleasant side of flying? I owned two real airplanes over more than 20 years flying them, and I got my share of fixing things that broke. I don't need any more of that. And as an aside, I don't find A2A flight models any better than the rest.
@@theoracle3747 It sounds like you haven't had the chance to fly an A2A aircraft... If you don't like what they do and the features they include just don't let it concern you, fly what you like.
