In love with that candy corn shot. I've made bubblegum infused vodka (yes) but never candy corn...so doing this all October! Would you be willing to do a video on your takes and variations of a classic daiquiri? Aside from the pretty standard cocktail daiquiris.
I am hosting a Halloween party and was looking for some not too complicated shot ideas and that candy corn shot looks so good and simple! I was wondering if infusing the vodka on a larger scale would affect anything? Like if I wanted to do a whole bag of candy corn I assume I would measure how many 1/4 cups are in the bag and then do the 3oz for each 1/4 cup worth of candy corn all in one large container? I'm not sure if you've tried it on a larger scale like this but any input or tips are appreciated. Either way thank you so much for this idea! I'm very excited to try it! 😊
You get about 34 oz in a full bottle of absolute vanilla. Just purchase the correct amount of candy corn. Don't worry...its your shot....no matter the ratio it will be great!! Thanks for watching and commenting
I plan to make a big batch of the candy corn infused vodka. How long will the vodka be good for? I'm going to have enough to last at least till thanksgiving
Yes, It will last until Thanksgiving. Normally the infused vodka can last up to 3 months. I've head that the Alcohol will kill any bacteria, but as a rule of thumb..... 3 months is my limit.
MrFredenza I followed the Candy Corn shot recipe to the tea. It tastes more like pineapple juice then anything. Is that normal? Unless my measurements were off?
MrFredenza One more question. Can you make the candy corn infused vodka in larger quantities at a time? Instead of the 1/4 cup of candy corn and 3 oz of vodka, can I increase the amount of both without any difference? I'm making some for a party and I need a bigger batch.
