For large tanks and ponds the Alocasia cucullata does well for me. I also love taro in my ponds.

Spider plants also do well in aquariums if you keep the base of the plant above the water line! For small plants I like pearlweed and redroot floaters growing on my matten filter sponges.

Great topic man! I have houseplants growing emersed in most of my dieted, deep substrate planted aquariums.

Try the lemon button fern. It does well in my aquariums and seems to loose less leaves than the Boston ferns.

Syngonium plants do well in aquariums. It is a veining plant like pothos. There are some with pink leaves for a great touch of color!
