Hey everyone! Today we are going to be picking out 5 innova molds that we think best fits my play style! Thanks so much for watching todays video and make sure you comment below what innova molds I should throw! www.Throwanotherround.com
Shryke was my max distance disc for years until I lost it recently. If it's too flippy for you, you can get a higher weight or maybe halo plastic. Or you can get a Charger. My bro has one of those and it's pretty stable, but I think it can fly farther than a destroyer.
I realise they will have a lot of competition with how many discs you are trying but I feel like you could get a long way with the Mako 3, Leopard 3 & Roadrunner with your style of play.
The halo leopard3 has an underrated amount of stability. You can throw it with some power without worrying about burning it over. It’s not overstable but it’s not a weak disc either.
I throw a lot of Innova molds. I putt with the Innova firefly. I have a flippy rancho roc and a beefy Rocx3 ( different than the roc3). I have older run star leopard for my hyzer flip turnovers. 2018 tour series barsby eagle for my stable hyzer flip, pushes almost dead straight, then always fades, it's extremely reliable and bombs for a seven speed disc. The Tee-bird is pretty legit but seem flippy af now that Innova changed up their plastics. Prolly a champ firebird for your flick. Throw a thunder bird for the beefy 9 speed slot. Pick up a champion sidewinder max weight you won't regret it. You can make that disc do anything. Roadrunner is a sweet hyzer flip turnover disc. Older star run wraiths are one of the best disc ever created, but if you're looking for more stability Pick up a brand new Star Destroyer. They come beat in brand new with the new Innova plastic. With your arm speed you'll shred with the destroyer backhand or forehand. These are my favorite molds from Innova.
More accurately, a raptor or felon is like a sexton firebird. I like the 2021 and 2022 runs. Not rare or expensive and before they changed to more overstable halo plastic.
Man I love the Rollo. Its so much fun. I've been throwing the Barsby roadrunners for years and they are so perfectly stable. A beat in flat thunderbird is one that will never leave my bag. The new ones are more stable than my firebirds then beat in so nice.
Yo, it's Molt! I follow you on your Clash Royale videos. Just got into disc golf and came across you again. Love that Mako3. Everytime I throw it I have to say, "Mako moment!" to that disc.
I have a halo tl3, but recently found a champion f2 tl3. The champion tl3 is money. All the halo molds fly super overstable for me. That’s fine and all, but when there’s no wind, give me champion plastic.
Shryke or tern, destroyer or Wraith, firebird or Thunderbird, roadrunner or leopard3, wombat3 or jaguar, invader. Hard to exclude the teebird but the longtime favorite is currently not in my bag. Gstar shryke is an out of the box bomber or you can beat in a Star one for longer life. I like the tern in champion plastic. Destroyer and wraith seem to have a lot of variation. Halo star is too overstable for me. I seem to like star for Destroyers and champion for wraiths. The "old" champion glow beats in very nicely after starting out pretty beefy. I haven't tried the new proto glow. I have never been unhappy with any firebird. Gstar roadrunner is a true off the shelf shot shaper, cheeky forehands. My Barbsy roadrunner is much more stable. Leopard3 is much straighter. Wombat3 > mako3 but to be fair I haven't messed with the mako much. 198 to 200 g dx jaguar is innovas best kept secret. 180ish jaguar is all turn, also super useful, similar to kastaplast seva. Invader is great for putting and approaching. Love this series!
Honestly as far as putters go, I dislike the aviar. Especially in dx plastic. The kc pro aviar is the closest thing to a pass I’d give it. There is something just weird about the hand feel for me.
Not sure how flippy that roadrunner was. Josephs first throw w it early on made it look quite flippy and then I mightve missed if any other throws showed otherwise. To mix in some more stability n over stability I vote for glow thunderbirds new and beat and Joel Freeman gator3 and a nice flat pig in r pro
This is a way better pairing than big jerm and Joe. I honestly like this video more than I did Joe with any of the pros, and more than molt with any of the pros. But that 2nd chain out everyone knows it wasn't close if you don't show the camera where it landed. And then trying to convince someone it needed 5% more chains is a good way to blow smoke out your ass
Champ Teebird that is nicely seasoned is the best fairway of all time. I love my mako3s. So fun to throw. Destroyers if you can beat them in or just buy an emperor.
I care to understable mambas for turnover shots. The only thing a destroyer did was destroy my score. Wraiths are the best distance drivers in my opinion
Really enjoyed this one, I throw a lot of innova and none of these are the molds in my bag so it was very cool to see. Probably will end up trying some out, can’t wait to see this continued. Not sure if you’ve done Discraft yet but if not would love to see Nuke and Heat
I bought a canvas LV bag with my first bonus and within 2 years the purse was cracked/broken in multiple places and the store refused to repair or replace it. I don't know what resale value this crap has. I ended up donating it... well maybe I could buy a fake LV from luxrul but these designers/robber barons don't even think about taking a dime from me. This one satisfies my fantasy of many authentic products and I can afford to buy them.
If it's the first rollo shot, yeah I think it was about 20° not baby hyzer imo. But I wouldn't even call it a big hyzer. I know what feels vertical to me is more like 45° untill I literally try to throw a tombstone style spike hyzer like 200' using 400' of power type sky hyzer. Then I can get to like 70-85° hyzer range.
i putt with r-pro pig , i use star caiman for overstable mid 250ft-300ft , champion jay for neutral mid 275ft-360ft , star jay for understable mid with some finish 275ft -340ft , star halo mako3 understable with some late turn to straight about 300ft - 350ft in tailwind glow teebird for 300ft- 330ft headwind with straight finish , champion thunderbird for 330ft - 350ft or so headwind with some finish , champion sidewinder for 330ft-360ft no to low tailwind , star invictus for 400ft-430ft tight line with no to very little headwind , 2024 tour series star halo destroyer for 450ft headwind hyzer flip no turn , halo boss for anything between 350ft-400ft headwind all hyzer shots , star x-caliber for heavy headwind when i want a hyzer flip to flat no turn 375ft - 415ft in heavy headwind and lastly the star corvette understable max distance anywhere between 450ft-600ft current max on golf line..
There are 2(technically 3) Innova molds that don’t leave my bag. The Savant in Halo plastic. It’s a nicely seasoned Thunderbird. The other is the Eagle. I’ve got the X and L mold in the bag. The X is the normal Eagle. The L is a straighter version of the Eagle. The L not made as an Innova mold anymore but it is available as the Infinite Discs Exodus. I really like the flat top Orc’s as well if you can find them.
Is the L really the same thing as the exodus??!!! I have bought a couple eagle Ls over the years and they are so sick even tho they aren’t cheap since they are from random people
@@daveslocum5625 Yes. The Eric Oakley Exodus' that I have are the exact same as the Eagle L's that I own. The only caveat which it seems is with the X mold as well is that the runs lately have had more dome than I prefer. I like the flatter one's but other than that identical.
Top 5 use in my bag colossus(star) Roadrunner(champion) Archangel(Dx) Mako3(champion) Colt(XT)...3 months in and ive played -1 in 9 on a mid long technical course and only progressing
G Star Wraith, Star Mamba, for me those disc's I'm confident in shaping. Those 2 plastics either disc I like if I had to pick a plastic it would be G Star to me they come broke in of the shelf. My farthest throwing disc ever would be a really old F2 Champion Mamba super flippy thrown vertical like he threw that Rollo. I could get that disc to stand up stablize, burn stablize & burn stablize again. Sounds like a lie when it burned out it usually would turn into a descent roller shot. I love those Innova 11 speeds though.
Top 5 Innova discs off the tee. Not including putters. (90% of my bag is Innova) 1. Firebird 2. Roc3 3. Wraith 4. Gator 5. Teebird *Yes the destroyer is a popular disc, & I do bag one sometimes, but I don't throw it as often as my top five.
Molt I would love to see you try out the INNOVA TEEBIRD3. Especially G Star. When I first started watching disc golf I kept seeing Ricky Wysocki throw that disc constantly and they said it was also usable by all levels of disc golfers. It was the first single disc I intentionally bought from Infinite discs. I have now been playing for close to 5 years and that disc has NEVER left the bag. I throw mostly Latitude 64 now but nothing performs the same as a TEEBIRD3. I'm now playing in the Advanced level.
Putters are the only discs I don't use Innova for, but the star Teebird is the pinnacle of flying disc technology. Roc3> Mako3 but only by a little. They have every flight path in every hand feel. Classics, staples, meme discs... they've got it all.
I just started playing last year and bought 40+ discs from someone at a super good price. I have discs that I still haven't thrown and you were throwing them here. I might need to get it out and throw them.
Vinny absolutely does not throw Eagle-L - he may bag one for a flippy boy, but I’ve never seen it. He throws an older run of champ eagle-x that is firm, flat, and definitely overstable when new
