I know they’re not really viewed as a real instrument today, but recorders have over 900 years of repertoire. It’s a lot more versatile than it’s given credit for, mainly because it’s a family of instruments. I only have a soprano and a tenor but there’s alto, basset, sopranino, garklein and a ton of other sizes of recorders. Because of how responsive it is, and the fact it doesn’t have keys it’s able to do a lot of things you can’t on woodwinds with keys. Anyway, any instruments better than no instrument lmao I’m just nerdy

They aren't fading out. Music is being written for recorder all of the time. The recorder is in large ensemble and chamber orchestra as well as solo. It's pure ignorance towards the recorder

I play guitar... started with drums... Idk how I play guitar but I notice when I play piano it's pretty much the same thing... I'm pretty sure I can elongate notes. Even no I'm plucking. Forgot the word u used started with a L Legoottoo?
