My question is about audio mics. With the help of any of these 2 options, would it be a great choice for recording white noise beach waves or lake water sounds? Would they cancel out automobiles, Kids screaming at parks or airplane sounds?

Putting it all together quickly at the end was really the kicker for me and I am definitely a subscriber now! Great work! By the way, the audio degraded pretty significantly when you used the mist filter. I think probably a prerequisite to the mist filter is having the rode wireless Mic?

fantastic! I just got my iphone 15 pro max...I want to shoot some video at the highest quality...the thumb drive you recommend is great but I wonder if I could use a Samsung Thumbdrive USB 3.1 with speeds up to Up to 400MB/ which is cheaper?...I would record 4k60...I have a couple of Samsung T7 ssds..I guess I could velcro them to a phone case and use them...but the thumbdrive is nicer...

If using a C Stand for your overhead mic, flip the arm to the other side, that way it tightens when gravity hits and it won't fall down.

Subscribed ! Question(s). Can a 1tb iPhone 15 bypass the need to film with an SSD on the camera body and just off load the 1TB to the SSD when it’s full? And then you’d just need a 1tb iPhone and an attachment for an ND filter and use Blackmagic and internal LUT? If so I’m getting one today!

Question about the Sherpa case. It looks like a standard bayonet mount. Will other brands moment/smallrig/moondog fit? Just moved from the 13 pro (lost its life to a tractor tire) ti the 15 pro and would like to use some of those lenses I already have.

To be honest I’m not exactly sure. The case itself is pretty inexpensive I think it’s only $29 … the link below is for Amazon so I guess you could try it out and return if not.

Hey brother a lot of time when you afoot log you have to expose correctly how is thus done on iPhone. No one talks about this. Or is the phone adjusting exposure while filming.

The native camera app only really exposes in auto but Apple knows what it’s doing so it does a good job but you do have the an exposure compensation option so in certain lighting conditions you can go slightly brighter or darker to fit the style of your shot if need be.

No way, you gotta see the comparison video of 8k Samsung vs Apple - Samsung is awful, super sharp, garbage, looks like a cell phone cam… then they show iPhone, MOVIE QUALITY. No comparison! I am unbiased, I’d buy a Samsung just for the camera but nope! It’s unacceptable.

It works.. You have to go in the settings of the app and go to audio and select the rode while it’s plugged in

Iphone users impressed by the drive recording feature 😂 Android had this feature dating back to 2018. I'm an iPhone user too 😂💀 also Droid supports a USB splitter iPhone might too (record audio & video externally, possibly)

Yes true but no android phone on the market delivers results like these phones when you know how to color grade and shoot in ProRes Log… and this is coming from someone who has been an official part of team pixel for the past 4 years.

I think the Freewill clamp spring is too strong. The Pro Max model might be too big for this grip. They've done well with the magnet system for installing the filter but not the grip. The grip should be magnetized as well.

I haven’t seen anything yet. But you can still film internally at 24 or 30p and if you’re using 60 for slowmo you don’t really need audio so you can plug in when you’re ready for 60 and record A roll internally

One has nothing to do with the other. ProRes is about the amount of information being recorded and flexibility in post. A must filter softens up some of the digital and over sharpened look you get with modern cameras and smartphones
