So at first you notice it but nothing to worry about. After you live with it I don’t even notice anymore. I hated the tires at first but they got better the more I drove. You will hear rocks hitting the inside of your fenders so don’t be surprised in that. Oh, a People can tell if you are driving when talking on the phone. I really do love the car
I heard that the 911t/GT Glass actually makes the cabin more quiet. Have you driven a base Carrera and thought the cabin was louder than your T? @@VisionT7
Is the rear wheel steering worth it? I'm on the fence about it (also deciding RWD vs AWD on a 911 GTS. it's my first porsche and I worry wether or not AWD will understeer compared to RWD)
So I will say this. The car handles amazing with it. I like to get on the track an hit up canyons. If that’s you then it’s a must. The car is soooooo planted it’s insane. It wants to break loose when I force it to. Unless I lived in a bad weather spot or wanted to get the best launches, I would pass on AWD. Just my opinion.
Not sure if you have noticed but I found someone mentioning it on their channel and I realized it too, this weird smell from this generation 911, it's different from other new car smell, quite irritating. I put a car diffuser in the car but still pretty bad...
The stereo is horrible and it is disgrace for Porsche to think this base stereo is acceptable. I watched many videos before building my T and it wasn't mentioned how mandatory it was to buy the Bose.
@@VisionT7 No man, unfortunately it's not. The base sound system sounds terrible in any Porsche, any model. It's common sense that you never - ever - NOT upgrade to at least the Bose. Sorry you had to find out the hard way. Sucks.
I was told you can't even change the speakers because the wiring is different from the Bose system which includes the amp and subwoofer, so we are stuck.
Not sure if the 992 still have the same design. One of the biggest issue is the frunk which can only be open through an electric switch, if your battery dies, you will need an external power source to open the frunk. This is one of the most stupidest design in automotive history in my opinion.
@@VisionT7 you get a SECOND car for road trips. A 911 T is for guys who drive, not guys who preen in front of the local high school. You get a mustang for that. The PDK sold you out. That and the fact you wish you could see the engine. It’s been inaccessible for YEARS now. Admit it, you just want something for “Cars and Coffee”. I bet the first thing you did was try to find how to completely disable traction control, because what’s the point of cars and coffee if you can’t do wild burnouts into a curb when you’re leaving?
@@rigbyowen5153 Hello loser. Welcome to the chat. I see you get off on putting others down for their personal choices. Good for you. “A 911T is for guys who drive.” Like maybe on road trips? 🫤. PDK sold me out as somebody who “preens” is idiotic since the car is faster and meant to increase your performance, hence also improving your driving experience. Oh, and yes I know we can’t see the engine for the last several years, doesn’t mean it’s a good thing there bud. Cars & Coffee is actually pretty fun, but no I take my 1956 F100 to that. And finally, disabling traction control is pretty awesome in all sports cars. Maybe try it in yours and that stick up your ass might just come out. Until then. Enjoy your car, stfu and have a good life. ✌️
One think I hate about my 992 gts is not having enough torque! You really have to keep hitting gas to stay top of the speed! Other day felt like I was doing 90 but really just going 65 and cars kept passing me like WTF you doing? 😂😂
At first the tires (run flats) sucked. I hated the noise they made hitting bumps. After a few hundred miles the tires got better. At first you notice the road noise but I got used to it. I actually prefer it now. The issue is when people ride with you who are not car people. My wife mentions it every time she gets in 🙄
Shame you did not opt for the Bose when you were speccing the car.....! All the other things you dislike cannot be changed ( maybe aftermarket exhaust system)... Enjoy your whip!
Lol people are mad because you hate stuff about your car? Yeah hate may be strong for some stuff but it's all valid for you. I trust drove one and I agree the exhaust could use work and that's the first thing I'm doing to the car. Well second after tint and ceramic.
Better content will improve your RU-vid count. Take a drive, go to a cars & coffee Porsche meet, get some exterior paint protection done, get a hit girl friend, etc. Hope this helps? Team! 🎉
Respectfully I have to disagree. Well kinda. That C8 offers sooooo much an is a fun car. However, the 911 is much better and is a do all kind of car. Fyi, Dr Porsche kinda created the VW bug soooooo
