Lol DCA, I think Ben Peterson was right about KnifeCenter needing to fire you. You are distracted by all your side projects with CJRB, Nordsmith, and MKM. Can't believe you called the Bel Air an Iridium! JK love you DCA
Can you please make a video of knives that lock in the CLOSED position? I need the safety feature and am looking for an every day carry. Open to automatic, assisted, any action honestly. M390, S90V something super steel preferred. Please help me find my knife!
Milwaukee Fastback 🤣 That's what springs to mind. There's nothing of actual quality I've ever seen with that. Maybe an older button lock Elementum from Civivi
Plenty of benchmades that lock closed. If you are looking for a lower cost knife that locks closed the original Civivi button lock elementum, button locks it closed as well as open of course. 14c28n so toughness is plenty for that thin hollow grind. I'm not much on china knives any more but I do gotta say that the original button lock elementum is a fantastic EDC knife and makes for one hell of a slicer!
I have quite a few Kershaw knives and may need to pick up a few more! It seems like they've improved their heat treating protocols and getting the steels harder, and if that's true I might have to splurge a little.
Great video DCA, I agree with all of your choices but 1. I'm not a fan of the Blur, due to its recurve blade. I'm not a fan of recurves because of my sharpening method. I use the Wicked edge system witch I gave quite a bit for. I love the system, but I don't want to buy recurve stones for 1 knife.
Not even a mention for the dividend in MC?? It's a go to of mine for an easy to carry, slim, lightweight carry. IMO its a much better edc option than the Link, I do have both.
I would get an iridium and a mini if they were making it in something stainless, DCA, you think they could get it in like 14c28n/nitro v, or 154cm near the same price point? The only thing keeping it from being a grand slam imo. Maybe a KC exclusive idea? Thx for the stream brother
Hello DCA, I have a Kershaw with an Emerson pocket operner, also a bunch of Cold Steel with their thumb plate wich also works as a pocket deploy mechanism, last but not least I have Spyderco with the same feature. Can you please give me an example what else I can put in my collection? Where I live the blade length doesn't matter, I do EDC Cold Steel Espada XL.
Nope, I have a few Kershaw knives. It's been a love-hate relationship. Still own a Leek, own a Camp 14, and I had a Blur in S30V, think it was my first knife in that steel, gave it to one of my kids. I like what Kershaw is starting to produce with the Belair. I hope they keep going on that track. They might regain a customer.
