hey i couldnt find a link to the complementary shaders pack in your description. If you could add one that would be amazing since I think its prob the best one to run without needing a super good pc
quick question bro i have been confused about those settings of shaders in your intro where sand and sugarcane kinda glow on corner how can i make my minecraft like that? pls tell bro :(
Complementary shaders are the only ones aside from BSL that run well enough to not deal with fps issues. A very good middle ground between visuals and performance. Also have extensive lighting and performance settings for those with lower end hardware. Would recommend fabric mod loader with the following installed: Iris, Sodium, Bobby (extends your view distance on servers, chunks must be explored). Bobby works with shaders unlike Distant Horizons and doesn’t use lods(only important if you use zoom mods).
@@JustElly Bobby can be installed but doesn't need to be "active" at all times; is useful when you want to crank up render distance for a screenshot, etc.
complementary reimagined is by far my favorite shader at the moment. the personality is incredible. the stylized clouds and flat water really feel awesome
SEUS has the best water effects I've seen in any shader. Its a shame the sky isn't that great, and I particularly don't like that they made the sun round but they left the vanilla square moon.
@@sovcat8671 that's exactly what I like about it, the clearness of the water in shallow areas. And the underwater caustics are unmatched, the most natural I've seen in all the shaders I've tried
@@playerzero0000 That type of water is only realistic in like warm biomes, if you compare it to irl in most cases the water doesn't fit. That being said they absolutely nailed the look of it and it's the best water out of any shader imo
It's a pity that you didn't show your rendering chunk range and average fps in each case. And what resolution are you playing at? 1440p, uwqhd or higher?
if you tweak down the shadows of nostalgiaVX from 4096 to 2048, you can get a decent boost in performance 🙂,im playing with this all the time using my rtx 4060
i been looking for new shaders. been using complimentary shaders up till now. and even with all these rt shaders somehow i always find myself coming back to complimentary. some of the rt shaders look nice but my pc cant comfortably run them. but its not only that. i love how you can still see underwater and that its so pretty underwater with the light rays and such from complimentary, i love the glowing ore nodes as it makes it so much easier to mine and just makes caves look pretty imo and of course the night nebule. no other shader that i have found has that. i think Kappa looks best to my eye but it misses the night nebule and glowing ores so i just turn back to complimentary. plus complimentary actually runs with good fps so thats a big factor. good video by the way. some nice shaders there to try out.
Thanks so much and I totally agree, there’s something special about complementary shaders that makes me use it in most cases. However, I started to use bliss shaders and slowly falling in love with them. Making a 100 day video with bliss and Patrix combo and honestly can’t get enough of the view
oooh ill have a look at bliss. thanks man. yea im gonna wait a while and maybe look at the next generation of Nvidia gpus when they eventually come out. on AMD right now and the RT performance just isnt there. i also found that with really good RT shaders like Apollo RT theres a lot of artifacting especialy in dark areas or at night. but that could be an AMD thing i dunno @@JbuildsGaming
I can’t remember it’s been a while since I downloaded them, but I think it’s just like the rest. Find it on Google and drag the seus shader folder into your shader folder in minecraft
i gotta say my favorite has not been featured. the complementary reimagined shaders are not the most realistic shaders but the style and color makes them very appealing for actual gameplay. its a heavily modified version of the BSL shaders but it has far more features that feel polished as hell. the soft looking default clouds and the completely flat water makes that shader have a very unique personality. reflections look awesome too! i was always a fan of the standard complementary shaders because of its features but the reimagined version is just the most perfect shader in my eyes. and that comes from a SEUS PTGI fanboy like me. most shaders are not that great when it comes to actual survival gameplay but that one knocks it out of the park.
I agree complementary shaders are great which I did include near the end as a bonus shader and it’s defo my favourite when it comes to survival experience. Complementary reimagined are also great but just an opinion I prefer the standard complementary shader but thanks for sharing anyway! ❤️
@@JbuildsGaming there are a couple resource packs that resemble the minecraft cinematic trailers wich i absolutely love in combination with the stylized complementary reimagined but its definitely an aquired taste so i completely understand what you mean!
I tried BSL shaders on my M3 Mac and did NOT expect it to be getting 60+ FPS on medium with light shafts. I was using Sodium and other mods that work with sodium but 60+ on a thin mac with shaders and intergrated graphics is CRAZY.
Did you render and upload your video at 30fps instead of 60fps on purpose? I'm not sure if you fixed this for your later videos but its worth checking. You made a pretty good video regardless of that though :)
I am soon going to be doing a 1.21 no-commentary playthrough on my channel, it was hard finding a good shader for my 1070 but can confirm that with optifine, BSL is AMAZING. For real, I never drop below 60fps and rarely even go below 90. Granted, this is at 1080p on a Linux machine (minimal resource usage) but even then it's still SO smooth. For anyone looking for shaders on intermediate hardware with no real-time ray-tracing, BSL is the best option by far. (Seus did run pretty well around 50-60fps average but the game eventually crashed for me so... there's that)
I'm using the Iris beta shaders for distant horizons. As of today nothing comes close to that. Being able to render 256+ chunks with shaders is the most insane thing I've ever seen in Minecraft.
I tried to add distant horizon to my currend modpack i created, but i guess something isn't compatibel since the game crashes after a few seconds after loading the world.
My laptop predator helios neo 16 with 24GB RAM, i5-14500HX and RTX4060, which shader can i use so that i can get higher fps? So far i tried Sildur's Vibrant Shader, SEUS PTGI, SEUS HRR but only managed to get 25-30fps.
apparently seus PTGI doesnt wortk on newer versions can you confirm it still works on the lastest version of bedrock? im gonna purchase bedrock edition
Rethinking voxels in interiors is closest to Bedrock rtx, the other path trace shaders absolutely lack the interior shadows casted by torches and other light sources.
They’re all in the description, names and download links. They will work for any version of minecraft but has to be java. I was using in the video 1.20.2
Minha melhor experiência foi com o SEUS Renewed 1.0.1 tem uma ótima qualidade e não é tão pesado. Uso junto com a Pratix 128x. Uso Ryzen 5600 / RX 6700 XT
i have basically the same system as you(a 4080 super) but the sues shader give me 3 fps, i was using the conquest resouce pack but other than that i have no idea what's going on
Sucks that for our all the mods 9 server with a few extra mods added that optifine isn't compatible. I really want to do the patrix sues combo but I can't find any alternative that would give it that realistic look without optifine. I really wish the person who did all the mods 9 would make it compatible with the curseforge version and whatnot.
hey, I have a RTX 4050 with a core i7 12th gen. I can get around 100 fps with 64 chunks and max minecraft settings. but for some reason whenever I put shaders, it starts at around 75-100 fps, then continues to drop lower and lower until it reaches around 30. any way I can fix this? it's pissing me off how I can run 64 CHUNKS and MAX graphics, and I cant run a shader at 10 CHUNKS.
If you really want an FPS boost with Shaders and a High Render Distance, use the “betterfpsdist” mod. It will load the game in a sphere rather than a circle, leading to a modest FPS boost. But with a Laptop RTX 4050, I wouldn’t count on anything Minecraft + Shaders revolved to be anything smooth, 64 Chunks and Shaders is hard for the RTX 4090 to run, let alone a mobile 4050.
@@Kaicovishnival That’s good, but still, if you want an fps boost considering you like to play at high render distances (based off of interpretation) you can download the mod if you want. It’s on Curseforge and modrinth I think.
It depends from the way they created the shader. For example seus PTGI is a high demanding shader yet runs smoother than some lower demanding shaders. That’s because shaders are basically a texture pack created by someone at home, therefore it’s not an issue with your pc it’s an issue with the shader.
am i the only one having problems with the seus shader? i use an amd card but i dont see where this could be a problem as my card runs it well but the water looks off
I’m not really familiar with them GPU’s I normally go for Nvidia so I’m not sure. However, I believe complementary shader reimagined are lighter than standard complementary shaders
@@JbuildsGaming it is a bit worse than the RTX 4080 if I remember right. The only better GPU that Invidia had to offer was 7900 XTX. I also run 2 k monitor with i7 13700. I don’t over clock my cpu or gpu, but for some reason my gpu only uses about 30-40% of power and gpu hits max 100% when loading a server and 20-40% casually
Also a very good low performance shader is makeup ultra fast i have an i5 6500 8gb ddr4 2133 and a gtx 970 and get 80+ fps at 1080p 8 chunks render and 12 chunks simulation distance at highest settigns on the shader except motion blur and debth of field idk how to spell debth tbh and with sodium installed
i'ts all ok but the ptgi hrr section sounded like an aliexpress description. it's not te best iteration of ptgi in terms of looks, some versions looked better (subjective) but it's the latest stable half resolution upscaling version so there's that, and no it's not really photorealistic feeling just because it's path traced
Minecraft has sooo many choices when it comes to shaders & texture packs...Unfortunate that even with your card that costs more than most PC's can barely get 30 FPS with many choices!
