As someone with slightly wide feet, not super wide, I really enjoy my Adidas Pod S3.1's. They were like $40 when I got em, I threw in arch support insoles, and they're incredibly comfortable. I wasn't even on a tight budget when I bought them but I'm a sucker for steals and I currently use them as a work shoe. The POD or point of deflection in the middle does run slightly up the sides of the feet. This has been known to dig into some people's feet according to reviews but I have never had this issue, I went TTS - same as nmdr1. Seems they're always on sale so hope someone can enjoy these shoes as much as I do.
thank you for makng this video. im so tired of primeknit shoes first of all, even though they are generally good for wider feet. however I bought some saucony shadow 6000's (collab with Premier Life on Mars) and they are THE most comfortable shoes I own period. also some Saucony Belgian waffles (collab with Feature) very very comfortable for wider feet. I got the DIadora n9002 Lido (End Clothing collab) a half size down and they fit perfectly
I have a size 13 wide flat foot, so tend to stick to NMD’s, Ultraboost 4’s, Huarache Ultra’s, a decent collection of wide New Balance’s, and Cloudfoam Ultimate’s for work. It sucks being cursed!
For big sizes 13-14, id recommend sizing up a half or full and if you like some room: Airmax deluxe/ sb dunk highs / puma cell og / AF1 / regular alpha bounce
I have somewhat wide feet but it’s bearable if I wear the right shoes. The shoes I have found to be most comfortable for my wide feet are: Nike Roshe adidas Aplhabounce New Balance Fresh Foam Decon New Balance Fresh Foam Roav These are all very breathable and consist of mesh that helps your foot not only breathe but have a bit more freedom to move around in the shoe while still staying snug to your foot. Hope this helps any wide-footers out there!!
As a wide footer. Surprisingly, Reebok’s-aztreka, adidas-yung 96 (never tried on a yung 1), Nike air tech challenge 2 (my personal favorite), and any Jordan over a 6
Can you please make a list of comfortable sneakers that don’t have the attached or sewn in tongue? I am big and have wide feet and any sneakers that have the tongue where i cant pull it back i cant get into. So even the Adidas ultra boost or any other known comfort sneaker is not comfortable for me because the tongue its stuck in place. I need to pull out the laces from 2 holes and pull tongue back to get my foot in nicely to be comfortable. Thanks.
my feet are REALLY wide, but for me i like the AF1s (any), yeezy 350s, and pureboost (any) because i don't like when the sides of my feet pop out and you can see it on the shoe.
Adidas Prophere is pretty good for wide feet. I wear size 11 and have one in 10.5 and it fits pretty good, I have a very wide foot. ,A 11 would be even better.
Some more affordable honorable mentions I'd like to add: -Adidas Alphabounces (commonly on sale/clearance) -New Balance 574 and 990 -Reebok Classic Leathers -Reebok Aztreks(commonly on sale/clearance) -Adidas Iniki/I-5923
Thanks for the heads up. I've been looking into NBs recently and they've been coming out with some nice colorways for the 574s. Now if they would only do the same with the 990s, we'd be in business! LOL
Hey Hes, just wanted to ask your opinion about the OW Terra Kiger 5's. I have wide feet, and I usually get a 12. Should I just go for the standard +1.5 (so 13.5w) or should I go for 14w?
I have never worn the Asics Gel Kayano 5 OG, are those good? I have the gel lyte 3 and kayano trainers and i have flat feet which in turn kinda makes my feet wide and it is super comfortable in the gl 3. Just wondering if anyone has more recomendations from these 5? I was just curious if the kayano 5 OG is a good pair or if there is more good shoes like from NB or saucony etc
i feel you man, i love white leather sneakers a lot, but they look terrible on my feet, so i went on youtube and watched all unboxing clip about white shoes
As I fellow wide footer, i completely agree with the react prestos and 700s; I also usually have a pair of AJ3s and 35-turbos in rotation with pairs of the other 2. Also, I’m Super Late, but just got my first pairs of alphabounces from adidas sale (thanks hes) and love them so much, gonna try the alphaboosts next time they go
Toes for me isn't really the problem, its more the midfoot unfortunately. However, the front of my feet are to not as flat as normal feet, so most shoes always feel like the top near the toes is squeezing against the top of my feet
Thank you for a much needed Top5 list for wide-footers. My brother has the devil of a time trying to find sneakers to fit his stupid-wide feet 😩 He needs EEE and above. I have been trying for years to find models that he finds comfortable in from the big brands, but alas none has prove to be a instant hit for him. Even the triple EEE requires breaking in for him to wear comfortably. Does anyone else share this problem? If Nike or Adidas or Puma etc are willing to release a Extra wide line for their Mainstays I would imagine they will be a massive hit.
You should look beyond the world of Adidas and Nike. You have Asics, Under Armour, Saucony, Hoka... Asics Gel quantum and Kayano are outstandingly comfortable and stable. Adidas are bad quality especially Originals.
I've realized Boost is extremely comfortable when you first put them on and for short periods. However anytime I have worn them for really long periods of walking, like NYC trips, my arch ache and feet kill at the end of the day. Honestly similar felling to wearing a Nike shoe with cushioning from twenty years ago.
I have real wide feet but mainly my mid part of my foot and I think why I dont like this list at all. Alphabounce is not it because it has hard parts on the sides and could not stretch mid part so I couldnt buy them. Same for the NB v5 which I tried was really really comfortable on the sole but the mid part is narrow even when I tried one size up. Of course there are wide options but not easy to get if you dont live in US. The rest are Dads shoes which might be fashionable but I dont like and just because I got wide feet doesnt mean I have to wear Dads shoes. The best trainers I have thus far for wide feet is Pureboost Clima and I suspect the whole Pureboost range because of their double folded tongue. Usually because of my wide feet, it pushes out the sides and so the top part is pushed down but with the double folded tongue it means the mid part fit as big as you like and it isnt a god damn chunky Dads shoes.
One suggestion: AF1. Those sneakers are the first for me to buy true to size. It probably didn't make this list because it has a heel-only Air unit, but I can assure everyone that it can be easily worn all day without fatigue
I tried the Presto Reacts because of this vid and i went a whole 1size up which made the toebox really roomy and comfy but the middle part with the cage is still really tight for me in a case where my feet aches a in a few steps
Anyone here who's a wide footed boi that owns a Converse 70s low?? i really want to buy a pair but i dont know yet how it fits for wide footed like me if it looks good or what. please leave a reply on my comment 😁
... why Nike monarchs and 700s are in here? they not even comfort as those others 3. at least put something really comfort bro. I own 700s and have try on feet the mornachs, they are ... just somehow feel normal, not anyspecial like boost or even bounce or react. the top 2 and 1 I suggest that is top 2: Ultra Boost ST (extremely comfort and suit for wide feet) or JORDAN APEX UTILITY (cause this one have a react cushion + flyknit upper inside and have a wide toe boxes) and top 1: EQT 93/17 primeknit ver (they have a lot of space in toe boxes and extremely comfort primeknit)
Nike, Adidas, Puma, and most others I'll never give a 4th shot to. I've been repeatedly burned by them saying they are wide foot friendly and they never are, their shoes are all based off of a traditional D width template. When all the big brands say they are wide friendly. They are sAying wide for a "D" or maybe "E" but they very rarely have a "EE" or wider mold. With the Monarchs being the only exception that I know of, and let's be honest they are FUGLY. UA, NB and sketchers are your only options wide foot fam and most of their shoes suck as well. I've Never found a pair of sketchers or NB that I Love and are comfy. And the UA's I've loved are definitely not perfect.
I got a really wide feet but a very short lengthwise, size 8.5 or 9 US fits me good but the length is just too long for me and it makes me looks like ronald mcdonald. 😢
ON running shoes, go a half size up they run small but are very wide. SUPER overlooked. Not all their shoes are great but a few of them are AMAZING like the ON - CloudSwift or CloudStratus the status Runs wide even within the ON line. I swear by them seriously🤟🏼
The problem with all those trainers is that they might be comfy but they all look ugly af. They all look like parts of transformer Optimus Prime... From my experience Adidas Jeans work quite well. You'll still feel discomfort after about 8 hours but it's not like Convos or Air Force/Max. Also, Timberland boots are very wide foot friendly but those are boots and they'll need some breaking in to do. Otherwise, if you still want to wear nice pair of trainers but they kill your feet even if the size is right but they're just not for people with wide feet there's a little hack. Take the laces out, take a balloon and put it inside your shoe, fill the balloon with water and put it in the freezer, that will stretch the leather/fabric/rubber around your toes and it should take the edge off. Try to repeat with laces in if it doesn't work. Edit: Also, try to reduce sweating on your feet. That will help against blisters if you still want to wear All Stars or Air Forces. Use socks with high % of cotton and use shoe spray and foot spray. Keep your trainers clean on the inside, buy a pair of medical shoe soles. Hope that helps.
You need to look at other brands. This is not a good roundup, just Nike & Adidas. I have wide toe boxes and the only ones that really work are Saucony. And they're really stylish.
Hmmm wide feet thats nothing, i have a extra toe on both side… now that a challenge but as wide as ever nike uptempo fits awesome and jordan 13… and remember i have a extra toe on both side of my feet so when i say those two shoe ate comfortable it is, ooh and cortez plus reebok classic
Thanks for this video. I hope more sneaker companies like Nike add wide sizes on shoes that are more slim and not stretchy like the sb dunks or blazers
