At the end of the day I'm not looking to invest in game skins as if they're crypto or whatever, so even though the ability to sell them is a huge upside it's worth nothing if I can't get them im the first place

I also love the IGNITE fan, it really suits me because it has the kind of aesthetics I prefer and it's a better cop than the upcoming exclusive limited (Valorant Champions 2023 which imo has a good Vandal but a terrible knife) so I don't regret it.

Yeah but you are spending 50 bucks on something that isn't special. Sure it looks cool but you have the same knife as everyone else who bought it. It isn't special and you spent 50 bucks on it. It also holds no value because of that. Cs skins are different and when you get a knife it's YOUR knife. No other players have it and if it has a cool pattern then it can go up in price. Then if you get bored you can sell it and spend the money on something else. You can't resell Val skins meaning you wasted 50 bucks and if you get bored of it, good fucking luck. In the end it becomes a huge waste of money and it becomes worthless if you get bored of it
