There is always a rivalry between teamates, if you think that just because your favourite teammates have a good relationship on camera they don't have a fierce and intense rivalry, then you dont know how this sport works

It wasn't fake. It showed the behind the scenes and obviously when someone's leaving you have to push them to the wayside and Carlos wanted to show Ferrari they made the right desicion. They overdid it a bit but there was a rivalry for sure

And completely missed the story lines of russel's mercedes debute, turkish gp and hulk's return in season three🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I would only watch it for the off-track footage/scenes. I haven't watched any episodes, but do they dramatisize or push false stories in off-track scenes also?

It was actually 2 minutes, 45 seconds. They were just trying to show how scary it was and the amount of stress on the track.

@@rayaanrana8446 He was trapped for 28 seconds, the TV cameras didn't show Grosjean 2 minutes and 45 seconds after the crash. I do see why they stretched it out like that though. Waiting to see what happened felt like forever when I watched it live.

@@labomb-ahhh6339 well, it paints the wrong picture for new fans coming into the sport and im speaking from experience. My relative, who didnt know anything about f1 apart from the fact that Michael was the G.O.A.T thought that Lando and Carlos hated each other and that Seb was a bad driver. While i agree with the idea behind DTS, i certainly disagree with its implementation. And its not just irrelevant details, for some enthusiasts, those minor details could mean a whole lot. Just look at some of the examples given under 1 of my comments on this video only. I mean using the same sound for every engine? Even if you take the Styrian GP radio example, the team radio makes it seem like Leclerc is a bad guy by using his "What the Hell" or using Sebs 2019 Brazillian GP radio. The show puts drivers in an extremely positive light or an extremely negative one. And this is without me looking at the fact that there were literal upshift sounds at 300kmph. At what point do you confront the producers about so many abstract details. This sport is based on risk, risk that is not artificial. Another example i have in mind is what 5 continuous shots of Romains crash. I mean the guy almost lost his life ffs. We all know what happened, were 5 replays really necessary. I saw the crash on live TV and i was genuinely traumatized. Now imagine me being a new f1 fan (which im not) watching the same replay over and over again. Imagine being Romain, wanting to watch a series on the sport he loves, and having to go through that moment again. At the end of the day, its not enthusiasm, its more of wanting what's best for the sport and for me, that's a less dramatic DTS.

@@arjungrewal17 I don't think Grosjean was even bothered about it. If he were, he wouldn't have agreed to do an interview, let alone a whole episode dedicated to his crash. Seems like out of all the racers, Verstappen's the only one who's not a fan of the series because of the way he's presented. About the Carlos and Lando rivalry, tbh, I didn't get any sense of animosity between them. I mean, they literally showed footage of them throwing banter at each other, that's not a sign of people who dislike each other. The Leclerc and Vettel radio did kinda bother me at first, but I brushed it off immediately, because at least it's somewhat related to the original context, though I guess the "what the hell" by Leclerc should've just been omitted. Anyway, I enjoyed the series even as a fan, despite the obviously exaggerated drama and some inaccurate details, and I hope it brings in more new fans.

Netflix adds drama to every series they ever created. Even comedy series. They ruined F1 and The Witcher for me.

The Grosjean crash was about the time we waited live to see anything. I wish they used clips that were on time but whatever. The Grosjean crash pissed me off because they want you to believe a driver going toward a barrier at 250km/ph is going to radio in to say "Fuck" when it never happened.

They made the Grosjean crash long in order to replicate the feeling of what it felt like to be there IRL. Every second felt like 5 minutes. That’s how intense it was.

@@beefjiggler5665 the real story of the crash is the safety of the cars and the recounts from Grosjean and the medical team. Instead they make the crash all about whether he was going to survive. In my opinion that was incorrect, but then apparently people like drive to survive, so I guess they can do what they want if it is successful

Yes and no. The biggest fear there is that his monocoque broke in two. There are parts of the chassis that are designed to break easily to dissipate the shock. The monocoque is a closed survival cell. it is supposed to remain intact to safeguard the driver. His broke in two. its not supposed to do that.

Pretty sure that was faked for DTS. I doubt he would press the radio button just to say the f word.
