I agree with you completely. For me, true makeup essentials are few. But, there is lots of "inventions" that are declared must-haves, but are, in fact, quite unnecessary.
Spot on! Also … When I worked for a prestigeous makeup brand, each year we had some special must-have products and they were always the worst quality!?
Yep … Some “tubular” mascaras - wash off with warm water, do the same job as well, whereas they’re easier to take of and therefore not that damaging for the eye.
The best eyelash curl, i manage with a teaspoon -such an old tric! As far as your nose, try to exfoliate with a wet microfiber cloth, by gently rubbing it over. It works miracles!
I’m looking forward to learning more! I haven’t been able to really find what works best for me. I’ve been told I have dry skin, oily skin, and combination and I’m just confused about it, lol. After washing my face, it feels dry and flaky, but then 2-3 hrs later it’s very oily (Lg pores). Makeup that isn’t too dry or oily is a challenge.
Dehydrated skin … It has a dry and cracked skin surface - like nails. That’s why water evaporates and it becomes dehydrated. The problem is that most emolients or humectants, in other words creams, contain agressive emulsifiers which make the situation even worse. So … You should try and moisturize it with an occlusive that creates a hydro-lipid barrier, crossing your fingers it doesn’t clogg your pores, because if it does, it won’t be easy finding the right one. Where are you from?
@@AdviseMyStyle Thank you for replying, I appreciate it! I’m in the US, and in my 40s and for the most part past acne, but my skin does get irritated with red/pink areas.
