Very good advice! Being ethical is more important than money, it is good for the interior beauty. All these years and I’ve had one salesperson who picked products that completely suited me. She was so low pressure, encouraged me to just live with what she had applied for the rest of the day, and sent me home with one small product but a full list of all the others so I could order online. She was in a smaller shop just liked you described and when I talked to her I found out she had decades of experience in the makeup industry in high pressure positions but had decided to improve her pace of life. I got lucky that day.

Oh my … I can totally relate! Exactly why I moved from Harrods and Selfridges to Fenwicks. To get peace of mind and lovely customers. Then people started talking and I ended up having the time of my life with a counter full of awesome customers. 🥲

Exactly! And skincare ... Skincare should be touched before buying as well. But I hate going into the stores where everyone is jumping all over me. Would be best if they would have just showrooms.
