I think it’s because the fee. You may be surprised but the consumer will actually sometime experience higher price on Apple Apple Store so It would cover the fee that apple charge for transaction on It. Therefore, some dev will choose platform like steam which may have lower fee which they could release game with the lower price. Ultimately may be able to attract more people to buy.
Playing Pools right now, to me feels like playing Portal but without portals. Anything above 1080p causes the game to run very slow and I have a M1 Max
Just because their not demanding, doesn't mean they deserve to be on a different platform... If a new game has demanding graphics, it doesn't mean it's going to be a great game... Nine Sols is one of the best games I've played this year and it's an indie 2D platformer.
@MrMacRight I never said they were bad games.. I said they look like they should be on ipad and dont look too demanding, as in they would be perfect for the system.
@MrMacRight maybe I just worded it wrong. Hey, btw, have you come across any more information on the ipad Pro Oled screens PWM hz? It's hard to find more information on this. The usual sources appear they haven't tested them. Some around saying it's less than 500hz, about 450hz. Be nice to know for certain. Anything less than 500hz PWM generally causes a lot of people to have sore/ dry eyes and in real sensitive individuals, even headaches.
Seeing games for “Mac” is like seeing games for an iPad (well… actually the same hardware 😂 ) but most people expect these games in an iPad (touchscreen) and for Mac…AA/AAA games (keyboard, mouse or gamepad), but these don’t come to Mac. So… I think most will be fine with an iPad Air. I own a 430€ Samsung Tab S8 with a 120 Hz screen and do most of my work and gaming, as well as I have a legion go (all x64 games are compatible) which is my console/windows machine. Why upgrade my Mac mini m1 if games are iPad-like?
Songs of Conquest also plays well on my Windows 11 arm PC with Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 processor via x64 prism emulation! The Duck Detective looks it interesting. I may give that a spin.
