Good tips, thanks for sharing! Here’s one more. If you own an iPhone, get an AirTag and place it in the bag. #1 when you’re at luggage claim you’ll know whether your bag arrived with you. #2 if it does get lost, you can tell the airline staff exactly where it is. Also, take a photo of your luggage so if it does get lost you can forward along exactly what it looks like.

@@GARAASJ Hey, in respect to the locals I usually do not talk about spots much, so I will keep it a little general. You can find me on Instagram and write me a personal message if you need more information. Ibiza has some good spots, especially for wing foiling. Winter is usually the best season but you can still score some windy days in summer, too. In St. Antonio you can wing foil on the city beach with easy entry. It's fun to ride around the boats that lie on anchor. A little further to the south-west is Cala de Bou with the Duotone Center. Good for kite and wingfoil. Gets some decent waves but is a little tricky for prone foil as it gets shallow with rocks. There are some long beaches facing west and east towards the airport, both great for wing foiling. El Codolar usually has less people as it is a long rocky beach so it's a very good choice. I think kiting is prohibited because of the airport. Platja de ses salinas can have some nice waves on the north end, good for winging and prone foiling. Cala Nova is my favorite spot for prone foiling, not to many rocks and fairly consistent. Picks up small swell. Towards the north there are less beaches but they usually do get more swell and have some pretty good waves. It does get shallow, look out for rocks. There's a lot more beaches that work with the right swell and wind but unfortunately from Mai to September most small beaches are full of tourist and the water is closed for surfers. You might get away early morning or late in the day. I don't think it is prohibited but the put up a lot of lines and buoys in the water to separate swimmer and incoming boats making it a little more difficult. Overall Ibiza is a great destination for wing foiling but you do need a car and some maybe som patience to drive around the island to find a spot thats working (-:
Winging is a little more complicated but I still get away with one bag. I have a Mystic Star Wingfoil bag the exact size of my board (they are actually bigger). I can pack my board, wetsuit, vest and poncho as extra protection, a 4.5m2 wing and a 3.5m2 wing, my mast, stabi and frontwings into the bag without topping 20kg. The "heavy" fuselage, mast plate, tools, pump, helmet and screws go into my regular luggage. I guess this only works because I am small and light (173cm and 63kg) and therefore get away with small gear.
