could've talked to him; addiction can stem from a lot of things; obviously he was getting whatever he wasn't getting irl virtually, and he would've still found a way to play the game. Take something someone has an addiction for away from them and they'll find ways maybe even criminal ways.

In the first rage, I think the screaming enticed the troll to keep going, because I know most internet trolls want to be a problem or a pain in the arse. Having an emotional reaction over the trolling is probably the worst thing you can do, because in addition to causing a disruption in the real world, it gives the troll what they want.
