I bought a 17” Blackstone last year … already sold it. You’re right, it’s soo heavy and bulky. Another thing to move and set / take down. Outdoor mat is 100% necessary. We have come to love that we pack a 3-step step stool. Comes in handy to clean your bunk ends, open or close the canopy.

Whenever I parked my camper I would spray for bugs at every point where camper touched the ground. Had ant infestation big time with ants and eggs all under my mattresses and table cushions after parking closed up for a few months. Even sprayed at campground to keep crawlers out.
I have got 3in memory foam mattress king size it a little to thick for my rockwood the top will not close but it will fit in the back on bench and table no problem.

@@AdventuresinPopUps Yes, we rented a travel trailer last month and think we know what works for our family of 5. Just waiting for the trailer season to end so we don't over pay too much. I like pop ups too, I'm just worried the Texas heat would overload the AC.
Definitely ordering toppers for our pop up we are remodeling. We picked up a 93 Coleman Chesapeake free! First time pop up owners here.. Its older but solid just a bit dirty . I've been wanting one of those cast iron pots. We have cast iron skillet, pie irons... We've got a few. So many good uses. But I need one of those pots haha
I grew up camping and also into adulthood in a tent. Bought a pop up because to old to sleep in a tent . Needed a comfy mattress and my air conditioner. After learning set up it was great. Just hate campsites are so close to one another.
