I Personally like the go-onger engines they were the first sentai I ever saw and the first sentai robo I finished here hoping you get them one day

I was about 16 when Overdrive started and pretty fresh to watching Sentai. I had bought most of the Boukenger mecha the year before, and boy was I glad of it when I saw the Drive Max Megazord. I'm pretty sure I wrote Bandai an angry letter, lol.

GokaiOh is a much better Sentai Robo than Super Megaforce's Legendary Megazord cuz it can fit every Gokai Machines from every past of Super Sentai. Looks like Saban might have a huge bop

i'd add Beast-Morphers onto this, as there's no King X Zord for some reason, despite even the toyline making it clear it's a big deal

I own a copy of ShinkenOh and Gosei Great from the nippon line i got ShinkenOh from a Toysrus for $80 and i bought Gosei Great off of Amazon for $80, wished the Nippon line continued and brought over more megazords for $80

I agree with the Samurai Megazord. The American version was hard to put together and wasn't painted with much detail while the Japanese version was much better.

Love Zeo and Shogun zords. My personal faves from the Zordan era (along with Dragon Zord). Operation Overdrive is underrated. It had cool mecha, great team up episodes, and was decent overall.

Don’t remind me on the difficulty of finding the Zeo Zords. While I was able to find them on eBay, the clips on the Lion and Phoenix are damaged (but still functional,) and of course that was mentioned in the video. Pyramidas is even more difficult with parts missing. I recently found out someone made templates to print version missing parts using a 3D printer.

I'd get the Japanese version of the Storm Power Megazord because that probably had less fragility issues. Senpuujin had diecast connectors so combining isn't a problem. The only thing that was unfortunately kept the same is the Gold Plastic Syndrome in the Dolphin Zord.

Personally, I still like the American version of Super Megaforce, mainly because zord builder gets pretty damn creative and I can make my own custom ultrazord, which ended up being a centaur space pirate with wings and miniguns.

boukenger definitely. that is one to this day, and for the entire line if you want it complete. you kind of need to get the japanese version, especially considering america never did a deluxe verion of the sixth ranger zord.

Number 1 is not even close. What the hell were they thinking ? Grab the Daibouken if you like those zords.

I remember getting my mega voyager when I was real little and having to return it because the arm for mega v-4 was broken. The replacement one eventually broke too. I was never too rough on it either.

you left out the go onger 4 megazords that combine combine to form the g12 or ultrazord final combination. what are your thoughts on power rangers repro parts.

I mind the Samurai Megazord differences a little less, since I keep my Samurai zords in Gigazord configuration, but I agree that the option to enter origami mode would've been nice

Heh, I got my OhRangerRobo for like $70 boxed and 100% complete a long time ago, that thing goes for like $300-500 now on ebay or some dumb shit like that(still cheaper in certain sites if you know where to look). All in all in this list, It's only Muteki Shogun that I still don't own straight up. But as far as it goes, I don't have GokaiOh and Gokaimachines anymore as I traded those to a friend for something else and I still haven't gotten the chance to buy a new set. So pretty much my collection from 2001~2017 has a gap which is GokaiOh, other than that, I got every main mech in their Japanese release since Gao Ranger.

Shinkinoh is one of my favorite designs so if and when I get a Japanese Shinkinoh it will be a holy grail of my collection

I got my Zeo Megazord from Japan and yes I love the chains!

I ordered the drive Max Blue Zord because I want to make a custom Super X 4 to display with my Godzilla's I see how they wore too big but it's just the right size to kitbash with some of my Warhammer 40K model leftovers so I should be able to make something pretty cool

So i remember as a child that own the drivemax when it came out. I saw videos of the japanese version, but didnt know that the japanese version was so different. (Didnt even know about sentai back then either) but I remember trying to remove the helmet fron blue's vehicle and the head is just fused with the helmet. Also trying to combine and store pink on red is a nightmare

you seem to know where to find the replacement stickers for megazords, was wondering if i got a supertrain megazord somewhere, could i still find replacement stickers for it and would they be in the uk and not too expensive, the stickers i mean.

I didn’t get into as much of the power rangers series after the original Mighty Morphin series but I can’t see myself not loving that original mega zord more than any other that came along after lol it’s so cool and the fact it’s the OG is amazing nostalgia whenever I see it. I’ve seen many zords and some just look so cheesy to me but with some cooler parts or cooler weapons maybe but altogether that Megazord still has my heart lol Can’t lie some of the rangers morphing outfits or the morphers have been a lot cooler but the Megazord takes the cake every time for me. The watches and coins were so cool too. Turbo was also cool to me when it first came out. One of the first new zords we saw after the original Mighty Morphin and had a movie. Edit: Can’t lie that Drivemax joint was looking pretty sweet lol I honestly might try to find that series and watch it if it’s out there somewhere. Hope an app has it or💡( bright idea😂)RU-vid might have some episodes just in case anyone was wondering where to look like me atp lol

I got the American Samurai Megazord and I’m only know kinda sad I didn’t get the Japanese version

I honestly didn't know just how different the Drive Max Megazord was from it's Japanese counterpart until you pointed it out here. All this time I thought it was the same but in reality it's far from that.

I have the japanese version of Zeo megazord and I found that the legs connection between the taurus (and whatever the legs are lol) are too tight compared to the US version, making the transformation not too fun. But it's nice to have actual chains and chromed paints.

I just bought the DriveMax and Dual Drive Megazords on Rangerboard. While I am glad to have them I did back in 2006 have Daibouken and the aux zords. Ugh. It's sad how different they are and that we didnt get Siren Builder.

The only one I personally remove from this top is the zeo megazord , I think the American version is a fine version of the megazord and nothing really major was compromised.

What a coincidence, I just got Muteki Shogun recently and sold off all my Shogun Zords except for pink. Only problem was it didn't come with the sword so I got a die-cast one from Starlight Studio.

Most of these are more than understandable why the Japanese version is the best and most screen accurate. Though it's mostly a matter of luck of finding them for a fair price. For example, i was lucky enough to find a brand new Nippon Gosei Great (Megazord) at a con in Amsterdam, i stil haven't been able to find a Nippon Samurai Megazord for an equally decent price. Also, around 2015/2016 i once noticed a boxed DX Daibouken at a local convention for 100 euro's, and if i was a bit more financially secured at the time, i would've definitely picked it up. Since the toyline for Overdrive is one of the main reasons why this show is one of the most disliked series in PR history, in my opinion.

wow, didnt know about the others, but i knew about the Shogun megazord being pink due to them releasing the toy before seeing the sentai footage & how the legendary megazord was a poorer quality in comparison to its sentai counterpart

You've put together a great list. The only other megazord/mecha I would consider adding to the list would be thunder megazord. The Japanese version is so much better than the American version. The thunder megazord is more or less just red or black plastic that doesn't really differentiate the colours very well, other than the stickers. And even then most of the stickers are not show accurate

I'd get the Japanese version of the Delta Squad Megazord. Too many paint apps were removed and they took out the cards for Delta Runner 5.

I bitterly regret buying the Power Rangers Samurai MegaZord instead of the Samurai Sentai Shinkenger Shinken-Oh when it was still affordable on import

My suggestions for imports from Japan. Lightspeed Rescue- Lightspeed Megazord was originally a diecast combiner (DX Chougouken Victory Robo) and that is what was removed from the Bandai America version. Space Patrol Delta- Delta squad Megazord had more lights and paint details in its DX Dekaranger robo version before the pain apps were removed for the Korean and Asian versions and then the lights were removed for the US. Cosmic Fury- might be shaping up to be a little bit disappointing. Better to import the Kyuranger Mecha. Ninja Steal- ughh both The show and it's source material are just bad, But if you had get the Megazords from Japan, I'm hearing the toys are pretty decent. (But I wouldn't go near any of the toys if I were you, keeping my sanity for cashing in of cool Japan or MMPR nostalgia just makes me want to bang my head hurt on my table.) Honorable mentions- Jungle Fury and RPM, they're almost similar to the Japanese counterparts except in size and the engines have voice clips just like the annoying Sentai They're annoying. Megaforce (the whole of it)- Just like PRTube said about Gokaiger, The same can be said about Goseiger and it's counterpart in season 1 of Megaforce. Yeah, you're better off importing both season 1 and 2 Zords.

Personally, I like the Legendary Megazord. I didn't mind the absence of the flip gimmick. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the zord builder ports on the yellow and pink zords are just sticking out.

I’ve often found myself pining for the Zeo Megazord(it would round out the three Megazords I have, Dino, Thunder, & Ninja, so well thematically) but the American one looks so much worse for the lack of chrome and I ain’t about to drop several Cs on a Megazord I didn’t actually grow up with.

the shikenger megazord is way better than the American version because the Japanese one has more paint, and they can fold up its shapes plus I have the hurricanger megazord and I love that one

Make a ultrazords to buy from bandai hapan and bandai America and hasbro in other words a must have list. Super sentai train series should had more creativity I found a way to do a custom combination with the train series.

You can technically fix the Shogun Megazord with the BD15 Stickers though I think you’re a bit late as it’s out of stock I think.

Hey the american super megaforce zord is not that bad at least the racer zord can transformed into battle mode.

I world replace Zeo with Thunder Megazord. The lack of chrome at least doesn't hurt screen accuracy unlike TM and all of his black plastic (lion head, thights armor) and dull gold stickers.

i only buy certain ultrazords i like in power rangers and super sentai. i can see why bandai america lost there toy license in the later years the datas hyper toy is cool the japan toy versions are better. i try to get my ultrazords used and complete from japan.

The American Drivemax Megazord is really bad. Some issues were fixed for the European release that includes a lot more paint apps and the Dozer Driver is the accurate shade of yellow.

I'll see with the Shogun Megazord the pink in the American just stands out way too much the white in the Japanese just Blends together better it's not as loud

Why does Bandai of America do the things they do? Was there ever a reason why Hasbro got the license now? THEY really shoulda hired a mecha designer like Shinji Aramaki or Shoji Kawamori to make the toy designs for USA Megazord toys if they're having so much trouble or get something like the Transformers development team like Aaron Archer or TF Labs in Hasbro.

i do not buy things in there product boxes used though. any way the the power rangers rpm zords were not done right the mammooth train was not screen acurate in toy form like it was in go onger i bought the go onger g 12 instead for the ultrazxord . the rpm megazords in box are like 200 to 300 dollars and hard to find than the go onger ones.

After how Cosmic Fury was handled poorly, the Zeo Megazord can come off the Top 5 seat and replace it with the Cosmic Fury--no, I want to come clean and say its real name: Kyurenoh. Never am I ever calling the Cosmic Fury Zords by their localized names, I'm sticking to their real names and just distance Kyuranger from Cosmic Fury out of spite.

When drive max came out I just dropped collecting zords. It was just awful.
