2 minutes in and i totally agree, I’m a plumber and yes ANY plumbing tool with the name Ridgid stamped on it is totally worth the money. I’ve been doing plumbing for almost 20 years and the only pipe wrench I’ve ever broke was not a ridgid it was a Lenox. I’ve also been using the same ridgid tubing cutters for over 10 years with no issues other than a bad cutting wheel. I also use the ridgid power tools for home use and the reason I don’t use them at work is because I started out with dewalt years ago and can’t justify buying all new when my tools still work.

Im in Asia, a DIY car mechanic, and I don't own any of these tool brands, but I'm intending to get my 1st drill and impact driver. No.1 on my list was Ryobi (for its price, performance and colour), No. 2 is Makita for its quality and reliability, No. 3 is Dewalt. But now I'm looking at getting Dewalt combo set (DCD796 drill + DCF 887 Impact driver) as I think it has the best value.

Ryobi is absolutely by far the best budget friendly manufacturer of tools, especially in Australia. The prices are unbeatable for Heavy DIY/Entry &/or Basic Trade work, the warranty is unbeatable (6 Year on the spot replacements for tools, 3 for battery's) The range is beyond exhaustive, if you need a power tool Ryobi makes it, and you'll have the battery and charger for it already. And in my several years of owning s decent collection of Ryobi, they are good enough for most tasks, and reliable mostly, no tool is perfect though. Not the absolute be-all in terms of performance/power, but absolutely a solid recommendation.

Agree. They will get the same job done as Milwaukee, Dewalt, etc… maybe not as fast or be as durable but great. I started my business +10 years ago and now. They allow people to buy more tool for there money with a lot of different batteries. They beat others like Kobalt and Craftsmanship because they kissy have bigger variety of tools. I like Kobalt too but they don’t have as many items. That said now that I afford better tools I’m looking at Milwaukee/ Dewalt.
@RyanPortsmouth
@RyanPortsmouth Месяц назад
I agree with the budget friendly aspect. The other thing is here in Australia we really only have Ryobi One+ HP in the prosumer class of tools that I tend to fall into, then you get into the pro range. There are other local brands trying to enter this market, they are normally company owned brands along the lines of Harbour Freights Hercules line but often not as good as they should be and in my opinion they are all DIY class tools below the original Ryobi One+. I have a mix in hospitality management, Ryobi is strong in my collection, I have a few Bosch Pro tools including my Dremel, Milwaukee and am about to pick up my first DeWalt and/or Makita tools. Then I also weld so have gone with an Aussie brand, Unimig, that I am very happy with that caters from prosumer to pro. To be honest I was a little surprised not to see Festool, Hikoki and Metabo on the list, at least as honourable mentions.

I did 14 yrs as a Plumber/HVAC foreman, I liked Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi etc. Milwaukee mostly because it’s what the supply house carried and was easiest to get and the rep came to the shop. However Ryobi has come along long way and has everything the others do at a far better price in my eyes if you purchase warranties on your tool which I do as I abuse them Ryobi is the best value for the $$.

If we're talking cordless, Makita all the way. They have a top quality cordless tool for every niche. They also have excellent battery compatibility throughout the line and they are extremely durable and easy to repair in the rare instances where it's required. Battery powered tools are basically about the entire ecosystem and Makita has the most complete. It's hard to fault anyone for going Milwaukee either though. My first kit of tools was DeWalt, i remember wanting a kit since I was a kid and instead of jumping the gun I waited and I finally saved up enough and bought a full on kit. After they got stolen eventually I ended up I'm the Milwaukee line of tools and I've never had or used better power tools!

i saw your video about 'Hammer Drill/Drivers' . Spot on. Milwaukee the best, wants to twist my arms off. But I bought into Ryobi and I still have a blue hammer drill still working. Now 24 Ryobi tools & 25 batteries, still a good runner for the DIY'ers. I have been in this biz also for a while with many brands of tools I recommend for specific purposes: Milwaukee, Ryobi, Bosch, Harbor Freight, General Tools just to name a few. Keep up the good work!

In Russia most popular brands are: 1. Makita 2. BOSCH 3. DeWalt 4. Metabo 5. HILTI Milwaukee & Festool are very expensive exotic tools for enthusiasts. HILTI also is over expensive brand, but it has strong position on the market. because started much earlier. AEG (RIDGID) has little market share.

I'm a contractor and I am 100% Ridgid. I own just about every power tool on their line. I absolutely love them and have had zero issues. The lifetime LSA is unbeatable, especially for batteries. Just register the tool and or battery, something goes wrong with either, it is replaced with zero questions asked. My list would be... #1- Ridgid #2- Milwaukee #3- Hitting #4- Makita #5- Dewalt (at one time they were at the top. Then black and decker bought them out and they have gone straight down hill since)

Hi! I live in Vietnam. I am looking to buy a battery screwdriver and I am deciding between the 3 brands that I think are the best: Makita, Milwaukee and Dewalt. I know that your channel has accurate, objective and reputable assessments of the quality of machinery brands. Please give me your opinion on my question: I want to choose a battery-powered screwdriver that lasts over time, a machine with the longest average life, 1 of 3 brands Makita, Milwaukee and Dewalt. A machine that can be used for a long time over time includes factors: getting wet due to going out in the rain, being hit hard by falling, the possibility of damage to the control circuit board with long-term use and other damages. other miscellaneous miscellaneous. Please let me know which of the 3 brands I should choose for long-term use according to the factors I mentioned above.
